[Sena's been thinking a lot lately. With school and everything else she's been doing, it's been easy to keep her mind off things but it's been a little slower for her lately and the thoughts began to creep in.

And so, she's begun to think about the one thing she doesn't have here: her family. So, she opens her computer and decides to ask a few questions.

It starts with her sitting there, hand making idle circles on the desk, her eyes seeming to find the pattern fascinating.]

If we're all dead, I wonder if we can turn into ghosts. [It's a weird thought and she doesn't think so but she wants this bad enough to ask.] Ghost can go back and see people, right? It's not like they have to be the creepy ghosts from stories or anything.

Anyone have any idea where the beach came from?

SSS members, you're required to come to the beach and play volleyball for a random physical fitness test! If you fail you have to come to morning training!

B. ACTION
[ No matter what you've come to the beach for, Yuri's managed to find a relatively December-y bikini to wear.. you know, mine the boots because it's the beach who the hell wears boots to the beach?? But here she is. Catch her either playing in the water or.. well, taking a break underneath her horrendous beach umbrella and drinking a can of iced coffee.

..Or get caught by her launching a sand ball at you (or down the back of your pants). Not quite as fun as snowballs. ]

[Jeez, is it hot out. Jeans not used to this kind of climate nor has he ever really experienced the ‘fat man in the suit’ kind of Christmas-- to be perfectly honestly he’s not even sure what Christmas is about? From the sound of things it’s some holiday those wall worshipers would have loved. The air is thick with a blazing heat, you know, none of this would be going on in his world. Right about now they would be freezing and snow would be falling, break out the winter coat.. That sort of weather.

They were selling these fancy shirts at the shop in town (whatever you want to call it, campus? Hell, he’s not really used to the term ‘campus’ either) so he decides to get one. Got to fit in, right? More importantly there are mentions of a ‘beach.’ He’s never seen one of those but damn it if he’s not experiencing it. After all, that Armin kid would never shut up about beaches and the sea in training..

The sand on his toes is, whow, does everyone feel this stuff? He quickly puts his sandals back on, the stuff almost feels muddy? It’s not mud.. is it? The festive lights glimmer over the water, who had the time to put all these decorations up anyway, is this just what beaches are all about?]

( That’s right, the water… apparently it’s different from normal water. You find Jean leaned over the coast watching the water come right up to his feet and then go right back in. The concept of current so bizarre to him, his eyes wide in shock but not from fear--just confusion. First and foremost he needs a swimsuit, helping him pick one might be a good idea before getting into the water (we can always handwave that he already had one, however.) Jean would think surfing or waterskiing (and/or whatever else would like to magical be at the beach for students and staff to enjoy) VERY interesting. Sadly, the kid needs to learn to swim. Teacher, teacher can you teach me? Can you tell me all I need to know? Enjoy keeping him from drowning....For a more spiteful option, you could always get him to drink the water. He might carry a (bigger) grudge afterwords though. )

[When Shouma wakes, the convoluted events that occurred between himself, his family and Ringo (etcetc...) aren't lost by a longshot. He's aware of what happened back there and how his impact on their world came to an end, as much as he tried to fight it. Accepting that fact was something he had to come to terms with all at once...and yet, it felt like ages ago. Possibly because he'd been fighting it for so long.

And now that he's woken up, he's, first and foremost, forced to recall it all again and acknowledge that if he wasn't completely useless before, he is now.

...But that's alright, because now, everything is as it should be. Being rendered unnecessary or unimportant for the sake of those you love isn't so bad.

It takes him a while to sit up and find his phone. It takes another (but shorter) while for him to try using it; it's operational, to his surprise, but he's unsure about using it. Yeah, he's more concerned with it than exploring his surroundings, which are benign — some kind of flower field? Maybe if he woke up by a fire pit or something...

He considers how dumb this is for a short while, but hey. If he uses it and someone actually answers, worst case scenario: he'll be written off as insane. It won't be the first time, and it's not as if anyone would recognize him.

[There's a small boy with big red eyes walking around in the school, who looks to be around five or six years old. He's a quiet one and looks like he's spent some time crying... And honestly, looks like he might burst into tears again at any moment. Hey, you'd cry too if you suddenly found yourself in an unknown school, okay!

If he's spotted you breaking a rule, he will follow you around everywhere you go. I'm not kidding, this kid will shadow you, albeit not a very stealthily. He'll look like he really wants to say something, but he can't seem to work up the courage.

And if you're an older student who's not breaking any rules (that he knows of)? You will suddenly find yourself with this tearful kid next to you, possibly even clinging to your sleeve.]

[A seven year old boy with white hair, red eyes and pale skin can be seen wandering around the school campus. He shows equal parts wariness, shyness, and boredom, and he has a can of juice in one hand that he got from a vending machine during his wanderings. How odd, it didn't cost anything. Excuse me, which school district is this?

The people I asked before didn't know. It was strange, and kind of stupid.

[he glances down toward the spot in front of his feet, and takes a half-step back if he judges that you're a little too close to him. doesn't seem like the type to make eye contact very well with others.]

Oh, and just in case, don't get too close to me. It's a very bad idea. You're better off keeping your distance.

[he knows people are going to ask about it, but it's necessary. people are unpredictable, bad things keep happening, and he needs to do whatever he can to lower the chances of causing conflict.

and he may not be doing all that much approaching of strangers, so instead you may just see him around somewhere watching people warily as he takes in his new surroundings.]

[It is really dark outside, okay. Even with his phone, it's way too creepy out here by himself. And sure, it seems like things have returned to normal, but waking up in a forest in the middle of the night isn't exactly awesome!
