[Seeing the Student Council doing their business all the time... The lovely Student Council full of pretty girls and... and... that NPC. Even with Haruhi gone now, the NPC is still surrounded by beautiful women constantly. Inigo has been holding his tongue for quite some time now, but now... now... he's through with that! No more holding back! And so he expresses his concerns with a video post today. Except his voice may sound very whiny. And his eyes may have some tears in their corners.

This is a very emotional matter, okay.]

I've... I've had it! Just standing around and watching him walk around with such lovely women around him at all times is horrible! I want to be him! Joining the lady-filled Student Council and being the only man... Why didn't I think of that?! I want that life! It's... it's just... n-not fair...!

[And then later that day after getting some drink, Inigo's throat begins to feel funny. He does his best to ignore it however, so he goes around with his normal business, being a little cautious of any strange glitches popping up. Little does he know, one had already taken effect... So when Inigo approaches your character, his voice is... oddly high-pitched. Compare his normal normal voice to, let's say, Timmy Turner from the Fairly Odd Parents.]

[ The feed starts with a tiny bit of rocky - even violent - violin music - nothing long, just a few notes to get everyone's attention. He's still dreading having to play rock over classic, but he's trying to get people to listen here and it's not like he's learned nothing from a year of rock band. The violin he uses is sadly enough a school one - his own's still locked in the dorms. ]

Alright, listen up here! This is hardly news for anybody who's not living under a rock, but I'm member of the SSS band. You've probably heard us at some events and missions - and if you haven't, you've missed out big time.

Here's the deal: we're in dire need of new members. There's no way all of you are fucking useless, so if you play an instrument better speak up now or I'll come find you some other time. [ You don't want that. ]

I've went through the trouble of getting a fuckton instruments out of the school, so you'd better fucking show up at House A and audition. I don't even give a damn anymore if you're an expert or not - if you like music and are willing to fucking work your ass off to get good at it, show up. And if you have any questions left, then ask now.

[ He kind of forgot to mention any benefits because he thinks the benefits of getting to make music are obvious - he may sound like the biggest ass in the universe right now, but he loves what he does and he loves that he gets to do something for it. Characters can either direct questions at him via the phones or show up to show off any skills - or lack thereof.
Unless the audition-ee player states otherwise, I'm opening all auditions for threadjacks by housemates. ]

[ OOC: this post is actually forward dated to the afternoon of the 19th because he'll need the morning of that day to get instruments out of school. I just got overexcited and inspired and wrote it now. I'll tag back tomorrow though after my finals are over OTL ]

[ When the feed turns on, there is one Homura Akemi on the screen, looking rather nonchalant about everything that's going on. She hasn't been doing anything useful as of late, so she might as well make a small announcement. (Also note the fact that she's actually in the computer lab for the time being.)

Even if people may or may not hate her for it. ]

I do not know if there are any people left who are "NPCs", as you like to call them, but if anybody requires my assistance in shooting anyone as a last resort, I am here.

[ There is a short pause, before she continues, her voice monotone as always. ]

Also, I do not plan on voting for anybody on the student council. I simply do not care about them.

[It's been two weeks since Riki was de-NPC'd, but the whole ordeal had him more or less keeping to himself afterward for a while. Not to mention, his best friend's birthday was only days ago, so he had been thinking a lot about his time alive, his home world, the Little Busters, etc. Feeling significantly better today though, he decides to go ahead and check up on everyone and whatnot after classes.]

It looks like bringing up memories really does work, because here I am, ahah... I'm sorry to those I was inconveniencing as an NPC, but I'm back now. I was a little afraid of going back to attending classes with all of the shadows around, but it looks like they don't really bother us much if we're doing that. ...Actually, it seems like there are a lot less shadows lately in general. I wonder why that is...?

I also saw that the Student Council elections are going on again, so good luck to everyone running! Though on that note, has anyone seen Kashiwazaki-san around?

[He figures she might have passed on, but... part of him kind of hopes not, as selfish as it may be.]

[Sayaka's been on the move constantly. Even after meeting up with Mami and Kyouko both, she didn't stay long in their company. Heroes had to protect everyone. In lulls she checked her phone. Nothing for a while. After seeing how full the gym is, Sayaka's headed off in a direction she thinks is less populated. She hasn't seen any elementary kids in this place so she assumes that area is safe enough--why would the shadows hang out in an area where there's nothing to find?

So, she finds a quiet area near there and makes a call.]

This is Miki. Where's everyone? [She means, 'where's Madoka', mostly but she hasn't seen a lot of people after meeting up with Mami and leaving her behind. She sounds tired--being on the move hasn't let her sleep much. She's also kind of hungry.] It's been kind of quiet. You better not all have been gotten by those things!

[A pause.] The gym's filled with shadows, avoid it if you can. I'm near the elementary school... if you need help, send me a text.

B

[After about twenty minutes of talking on the phone, Sayaka's going to start moving closer to the elementary school. Due to being at her wits end and not being in top condition, she's easily overcome by the shadows alone.

Oops.]

[The video feed cuts on with Riki sitting in front of a desktop in the computer lab, his cat, Obama, sitting atop his lap and constantly nuzzling into his neck. He keeps trying to push it away, but he's grinning into the camera all the same.]

H-hey everyone... I know most of you are probably on your breaks or eating lunch right now, but I really wanted to show everyone this. Look at this cat! It has just been following me around all day... Even inside of the building, and it just won't go away. Isn't that weird? It has a little collar with a bell on it [he points at it], so that means it belongs to someone, right? Is this anyone's cat?

[Because it sure ain't his -- or so he thinks.]

[And throughout the day, Riki can be found going about his "normal" business, walking from class to class with this silly cat following him. Every time he tries walking into a classroom, he tries shooing the cat away, but it doesn't seem to be working...]

The self-learning NPC has yet to be detained. As I mentioned, it is vital that we find and capture it before any problems arise. If you can't get the NPC to us, perhaps a little more incentive will make it easier to cooperate? I'm activating the shadow program to speed the process along. I hope this will spark more interest in contributing to the cause. As a reminder, the NPC was implemented into the system in the beginning of October, and because it is most likely posing as a human, it would probably be someone who has arrived after that time frame.

[The feed starts, and there's an eye — one with a richly red iris, narrowed in concentration. Kyouko's grumbles in the background have the breathy sound of someone who's holding a microphone too close to her mouth. She could never afford a cell phone while she was alive, though, so let's not judge.]

God, this stupid thing… is it even working? Whatever.

[The picture zooms out with a nauseating swoop, framing Kyouko's irate features in full. She's outside and appears to be lying in the grass.]

I never read the whole Bible, but I'm pretty sure this ain't what purgatory is supposed to be like. Don't think it qualifies as much of a heaven or hell, either.

[She laughs darkly.]

Not like I didn't know it was all a bunch of crap. So, there anyone around who can tell me what the deal is with this place? Don't bother answering if you're like the boring idiots I already tried talkin' to.

[That her Soul Gem is missing has not slipped Kyouko's attention, particularly since her powers are gone with it. Since she's dead it's not too much of a shocker, but she does want to know what she's capable of now. That, and there's still the naive hope that she might kick start them by running about and doing… things. Physical things. These include:

a) climbing around the outside of buildings and attempting to scale them acrobatically

b) picking fights with increasingly bigger and older NPCs

Yeah, it's mostly those two things. Afterwards, she'll be away in her room nursing her many wounds. At least they heal faster than normal! Except this might trick her into thinking she's made some progress.]

Hey, maybe this sounds stupid and all, but I've been thinkin' about this NPC thing...

If it's pretending to be one of us, do you think it's made friends? It's... real messed up that everyone's ready to catch it without thinking about that. Even if it turns out it can't actually feel close to someone, we can, right? Would you guys be able to turn on someone you thought was a friend just like that?

[Not that he wants to be preaching compassion like a total softie or anything, but he couldn't in good conscience just sit and say nothing.]

[On the feed today, it seems that there's a slight argument going on. The two voices are probably distinguishable by those who know them, but the topic seems a little...odd for either of them. But it's clear once the two come into view, Sougo with his arms crossed, a bored look on his face, and Celica, who seems unsure about the words coming out of his mouth.]

...The female must greet the male with a bow, and then proceed to lick his shoe clean as a morning ritual.

Ehh... Licking his shoe?! That's kind of gross though! He could have stepped in something weird!

That's why the cleaning is left to the female, isn't it? Men aren't accustomed to that sort of thing.

That's sexist though! Men should take a part in the cleaning too, after all.

When have you ever seen a man clean? That would be stepping out of lines. That's only acceptable in Neo Edo, where women rule supreme. No, this is real life, and this is the reality that must be accepted.

W-well... I don't know! But it wouldn't be fair... I'd be okay with cooking, but having help with at least cleaning would be nice. And I definitely don't want to lick anyone's shoes!

No, the licking of the shoes is essential for any relationship. Hold on, let me--excuse me, the masses out there? Could you help me out? I need to convince Aka-chan here about what soul mates do with each other, and yet she seems to have a rebuttal with everything I say. How do you think two people should go about if they were bounded by the shoujo sparkles?

[Later on in the cafeteria, the two can be seen sitting together. Unfortunately, Sougo looks like he's about to ollie outie, while also stealthily avoiding Celica's attempts at feeding him. At the same time, though, Sougo is attempting to attach a collar to Celica's neck, yet she is replicating the same motions of avoiding the collar.

Unfortunately, Sougo catches the utensil she's trying to feed him with at the right moment, and knocks it out of her hand. Which means it's probably flying towards someone's face. Quick! Do you try and avoid it, or does your character end up eating some unwanted food for lunch...]

((ooc: this is a joint post between sougo and celica! and they will be responding in order, which will go your character -> celica -> sougo, for both action and video responses.))

It seems that a growing threat has presented itself here. The programmer wrote the code of an NPC in order to override particular aspects of the Angel Player program. However, the NPC's capabilities go beyond what he had planned. It has a high learning curve and special abilities that could allow it to rewrite bugs or any other programming. This poses a potential problem that I need your assistance with. I need your help to find this self-learning program NPC. Simply locate and detain it, then let me know so we can retrieve it. It should not be too difficult, I believe. It may be helpful to know that the NPC would likely be pretending to be human as well. Of course, such a task would not go without its rewards. Whoever can find this NPC will be given the opportunity to request something. I will code whatever that person would like to be programmed into this world. This is a grand reward, so I am sure you realize just how important this task is. Thank you, and good luck.

[OOC: This is a world-building opportunity! Characters could request to program virtually anything (pun absolutely intended) from a roller coaster to even a petting zoo. Whatever floats their boat. Also, while there will be responses from the Mysterious Boy, feel free to have characters discuss amongst themselves.]

Okay, where is it?! [Sayaka's voice is harsh when she starts out.] There's no way this could be the after life. No way. If it was, then I'd see--[She cuts herself off.]--see someone I know here and I haven't seen them yet.

[Of course she knows a way she could have died but--that couldn't be right. She couldn't have left the city, left her family, left Madoka, left Kyousuke behind like that. She couldn't. There's no way she could have been that much of a failure.

Right?]

One of you has to be playing a prank on me. Haha, real funny. Give it back, already! I've got things to do and I can't just go to a school in some strange place.

[What 'it' is, she doesn't say. She figures the culprit would know what she's talking about.]

[Action]

[Sayaka's calmed down slightly as she wanders through the halls. She's still looking for whatever it was she lost but at least she's not yelling anymore. She doesn't look happy but there's a bit of a slump to her shoulders now as if she's almost accepted it. Almost. She'll straighten up if she catches anyone's eye. Even so, there's a certain lack of fire that might be expected of someone who just was protesting so loudly.

Maybe someone should show her to her classes or at least try to explain that maybe she shouldn't just yell at everyone. After all, she doesn't seem as confrontational as before.]
