[ Asuna's entry into this after life was more calm than most-- There wasn't any flailing or yelling or disbelief, she simply accepted the fact that she had died back in that floating stage along with Kirito, and was (for some reason) in a school. Of course, there were countless questions, but it wasn't too urgent. In the end, there was only one thing on her mind-- Where was Kirito...? She can't help but place a hand on her chest, remembering what was said. Did he survive, since he defeated Heathcliff? Or was he here as well. ]

[ Nonetheless, she'll be busy trying to learn where everything is, and why she's in a school after dying. Maybe her adventure in SAO was really a dream? But she didn't recognize this uniform, or remember it from somewhere, so that notion wasn't considered seriously. ]

( A ) Lunch

[ If Asuna had been alive, she would've been more social than this, but she just wanted some space for a bit. Dying (is she even dead) and then being thrown into an unknown school was taking its toll on her, so acting friendly would be too much of a hassle. Now that she thinks about it, this situation was too weird, maybe she should be more alert?

You'll find her sitting down in an near empty level of the cafeteria, munching away mindlessly on whatever she managed to get. She'd probably pass for an NPC is she wasn't so isolated. ]

( B ) Skipping class

[ Ok, not really. She just doesn't know what class she had to go to. Sure, she had a key to her dorm, but other that she was clueless. The people around her weren't all that helpful either!-- What if she just went to a random class. Would they even care...? No, do things right Asuna!

Peering into the windows of countless classrooms, she'll roam the halls until somehow turning brave enough to go in one. If only those teachers didn't look so busy!! Well, not busy per se, but they didn't look all that friendly to her either. ]

[Ib awoke in this strange place, with no clue how she got there. Her memory is a bit foggy, but she remembers a few things: her name, her parents, roses... Garry. Who was Garry? The name came to her, but his face and why he was so fresh in her mind were both mysteries. She frowned some as she looked around, as well as down at herself.]

[Was this a uniform? She pulled at the fabric some; it looked different, something she'd never seen before. She gazed up at the building, around at her surroundings. She knew if she was lost, she should stay still, but something told her that wasn't the right course of action here. She mulled over it for a moment, trying to decide what to do.]

[With a small nod, she began to walk, wandering around inside and outside the building, trying to figure out what was going on. She couldn't just sit and do nothing. Not when she couldn't remember.]

[For some reason, Fossil Roo seems to be a lot wetter than it was a few moments ago... And Garnet's clothing has become a lot more revealing than she remembers it being. This skirt is much shorter than anything else she's used to wearing.

Sadly, Garnet's attempts to gather her thoughts are cut short as she stands up by the side swimming pool, takes a few steps forward and ends up slipping into the water. There's a loud shriek as she falls in, but she's soon climbing back out of the pool in her new, drenched school uniform. Her wet clothing in quickly pushed into the back of her mind though when she doesn't notice a single familiar face around her. There are plenty of NPCs, some of which are still staring in her direction after she fell into the pool, but not one person she recognises at all.

She decides to leave the pool and try and figure out where she is, only to end up walking out onto the sports field. Where in all of Gaia is she...]

B

[Having dried off a little and discovered the key in her pocket, Garnet makes her way over towards the dorms. Any attempts she's made to talk to the NPC and find out where she is have ended up going nowhere. At most she's found out that this is a school, where the dorms are and that's it. It's almost overwhelming, having all these people around that can't give her anything but vague and simple answers.

It doesn't take long for her to work out that the number on the key she has must correspond to one of the doors in the dormitories, but after her dip in the pool earlier the card attached the key has become difficult to read. Not only that, but she's not even sure which out of the two, large dorm buildings she should go to. Her room in the castle and inns are one thing, dorms are just something different entirely. Maybe if Zidane were here then he would know what to do.

She ends standing outside both buildings as she tries to figure out which dormitory is the right one for her, watching as people come and go. She may even approach you and ask for some help after awhile.]

Excuse me, I'm - [A little?] very lost at the moment. Would you mind helping me, please?

✖ OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL;

[Haruhi is beyond bored. After all, when you're dead, there's no real reason to attend classes. Maybe that's the reason why she's reverting (slightly, anyway) to her state before she met Kyon.

And by that, she's throwing a ball at the school to see how far and how high she can throw it. In fact, she might end up breaking a few windows in the process.

Possibly even a few heads.]

[After that, she decides to harass the NPC baseball team into helping her out with something. And that something is to hit a thousand balls. Maybe even more.

Of course, if any other people are in the area, they might get hurled into all of this.]

✖ BOYS DORMS;

[Even though naturally, Haruhi's not supposed to be here, she's in this area for a very important reason. To stalk a certain someone, that is.

Feel free to call her up on it. She's not going to care, really.]

[ She was going to study but wow she is so bored... What could Rin be doing right now? --what? She shakes her head to get the thought out of her mind. Distraction, distraction, she needs a distraction. Well, since she's on the computer now, that Leon Kuwata guy did say he was the best baseball player around, right? Izumo does a quick search... and this comes up. She can barely contain her laughter.

It comes out as a really loud snort. ]

[ B October 15, outside the classrooms during break ]

It's just a little further now.

[ Okay, so it's no secret that Izumo hasn't exactly made friends yet. So what does she do when she's lonely? Adopt a cat and dote on it, of course. When no one's around, she walks the cat to the nearest vending machine and buys the two of them fruit milk. ]

You know, I think I like you more than those Mike and Uke guys. Unlike them, you're cute and small and cuddly...

[ She's sitting on the floor, letting him drink milk through the straw. What a cute kitty... She can't help but giggle at it. ]

[ Action A - Cafeteria, lunch break. ]

[ Chihiro is slowly adapting to this new afterlife thing. It's difficult at times and sometimes he wants to cry at the thought that he's really dead and he remembers nothing about the circumstances of his death. However, he's still trying. He may no longer have the motivation to become stronger, but that doesn't mean he should grieve over it forever. Kid's got an impressive inner strength after all.

That's why he's grateful to Yurippe for giving him her laptop for the moment. He's pretty much useless without a computer. Though he doesn't agree much with what she asked him to do... he's gotta do it anyway.

He's sitting alone at a table in the corner of the cafeteria, working on the laptop. He's trying to figure out if he could create an AI program here as well. Whoever notices him would see that he's pretty much typing at this kind of speed, not stopping for a break. The food on his table is untouched, and it probably will be for the rest of the break if someone doesn't point it out to him. ]

[ Action B - Garden, after school ]

[ Chihiro came here to take a break and relax... but something apparently went wrong.

If you pass by, you'll see a frightened ~~little animal~~ "girl" cower in fear near one of the entrances to the greenhouse.

... Apparently, there's a bee whirring about, disturbing his peace. Who's brave enough to rescue this distressed hacker? ]

[Today, there is a new inhabitant wandering around the afterlife. You might be able to find him climbing things like trees or basketball hoops... Feel free to distract him if you notice him there. Otherwise, you may find him coming up to yourself in order to ask a simple question...]

[ All around the school, suddenly there's a click and voices arguing over the PA system. There's also a video being made, if a character has access to a computer, but if not there are two voices being broadcast around the school anyway so if a character is anywhere on campus, you should be able to hear it. If they're an adult, all of the houses in town have computers so it's easy to see the video post. ]

In my head, sure. Wait-- Oh, it's already on. [ Ahem. There's a pause before Yuri's voice takes on a happier tone. ] Hi everyone! This is Yuri Nakamura of the SSS. That's the-- What does it stand for again?

[ Otonashi sighs, the palm of his hand once again reuniting with his forehead. They're good friends, really. ] Shinda Sekai Sensen.

That's kind of catchy. I'm glad I came up with it. [ Not that she won't change her mind in a few days. ] Anyway, I'm here with Otonashi. He never gave me his first name, so he's just Otonashi, like a pop star, and we have something important to tell you. There are a lot of you, so it was much more effecient to hack into the school's PA system and announce it here since I'm sure tons of you still don't know what's going on.

[ Yuri leans back in the seat. She doesn't put her feet up like she normally would on account of this being a video in addition to the vocal broadcast. She doesn't want to flash anyone, okay? ]

Welcome to the Afterlife. Long story short, if you can either see or hear this, you're dead. Any sickness or disabilities you had before should be gone, but some of you might be missing memories. A lot more than usual it seems like. If you don't have memories, they should come back eventually. We'll find a way to get them back. Otonashi and I have been in this world a lot longer than most people here now [ she thinks ] and we're willing to offer help to those who need to get settled in.

The number one thing, of course, being that if you want to keep existing, you need to do anything other than live normally. If you go to class, live happily, or find yourself feeling too satisfied you'll disappear like you were never here. You'll get erased, obliterated. For the super-morons out there who love eating, be careful not to eat your favorite food or you might end up disappearing from being so happy about it. [ Yuri's voice raises a pitch and gets all singsong while she imitates some random person she made up. ] "Ahh, finally, giant tuna! My life is complete!" and then you're completely gone even if your actual problems haven't been resolved.
