[Afternoon, Cafeteria]

[This is all weird. Too weird. Nursing a mild headache, more out of confusion than anything else, and trying to remember exactly what she was doing before ending up...ending up here has Yumi Ozawa a bit out of sorts. It isn’t helping that the first place she stumbles across is the cafeteria, and the fact that everyone is acting so uniformly and plainly is way suspicious to her. She doesn’t even know where to start. For all of her background in drama, she sure hasn’t seen anything like this.

It takes her a moment to compose herself to find the confidence she needs (or at least compose herself enough to act confident; she’s not entirely sure at the moment) to approach a few people, and she immediately regrets the decision. The girls she chooses to talk to leave her questions unanswered and she ends up dismissing them almost immediately.]

Well, that sure was a waste of time. [She sighs to herself before spotting someone just a little out of the ordinary. It stands out in a cafeteria filled with people who are either extremely well-coordinated or...well, soulless. That’s the kind of person that she wants to talk to. Without another moment of hesitation, she briskly walks towards this someone, tapping them on the shoulder and speaking before they can even ask her what her deal is.]

Excuse me. You and I are going to have a little chat, alright? [There’s a slight pause.] Great! Let’s go...over here. Away from whatever this is.

[Evening, school grounds.]

[After getting the gist of things...or at least enough information to deal with for one night...Yumi decides to head outside and just spend some time reflecting on what she’s learned and to figure out where she’s going to go next. As people past by her bench, the most lonely looking bench that she could find on the entire grounds, they might hear her talking aloud or catch her just staring up at the clouds. She has a lot on her mind, but she'll be thankful for anyone willing to talk to her. Anything to serve as a distraction right now is pretty welcome.]
