preservation[Elend has been gone for a long time. She's pretty sure that means he's not coming back. Maybe he lost his regrets. Even if he hasn't, he's gone, and she doesn't know of a way to bring him back, which means it's time to do something apart from mope and wait.
She probably looks strange as she leaves the school building, not wearing shoes and carrying several desks - the stack taller than she is - down to the field. She couldn't find any horse shoes, but these should work just as well, right?
She can be found on the track field a little later, leaping through the air with the desks spinning end over end around her, slamming into the ground, and being pulled back up again without her appearing to do anything at all. To her, there are lines of blue connecting to every bit of metal, apart from aluminum, in a wide radius. A Pull and a Push, and she's flying.
She hasn't gotten hit by any of the floating desks, so it should be safe to talk to her, right? Just don't throw anything.]
