[Her voice carried through the air, her scream demanding. She wanted to know why she would wake up in the middle of the night in some strange school, and she wanted to know why. The fact she couldn't find anyone who could answer her questions only served to make her even more angry.]

I want...![The second scream trailed off. Why didn't she remember how she got there? A flash of fear ran through her but, without being able to pinpoint why, it left just as quickly. Still, it made her pause, made her first tighten in anger. Somebody should answer her questions!]

[Last day of the sports festival, hurrah! Celica's been sure to watch all of the events so far, and she's very thrilled about this final day and for the awards ceremony later. With all her excitement, she decides to slip into the computer room early in the morning before the events begin in order to just kind of... motivate people, I guess! And also make some requests, maybe...?! Either way though, she turns on the video feed aaand..!]

Good morning everyone! I know it's pretty early to be making entries like this, but the events start early too, so... but anyway! Since today is the last day of the sports festival here, I wanted to wish everyone good luck! It seemed like you all -- and the NPCs -- have had fun the past two days, so I hope you all do the same today as well! I guess Haruhi has especially been having fun though, considering how she's jumping into all the events, eheh... [Laughing lightly. Oh Haruhi...]

But ah... I know the soccer, archery, and baseball competitions are today, right? And I was considering joining in on one or two of them, so I was wondering who else is going to? It'd be fun if we could all play together!

I think that's about it, um... [She pauses, musing for a moment. Uhh... oh right.] Also! Haruhi? Whenever you're not busy, I have a question for you.

[ Today, unfortunately for all of you dead people, is April 1st, also known as one of Haruhi's favorite holidays. And there's no way that she's not going to celebrate with a bang, considering the fact that with all the NPC havoc all done and over with, she can finally relax, chill, and attempt to prank everyone who's anyone because that is totally a thing.

Which is why if you're out and about (or rather, just anywhere in the afterlife), there will be pranks everywhere. Pitfalls, water balloons, chalk falling on your head, and many other things that are equally as horrible.

Do you dare approach Haruhi on this wondrous day of days? Or will you just become another victim? ]

( OOC: So! If you want me to randomize your prank, feel free to tell me; otherwise, you're free to choose what kind of prank you want your characters to get pranked with by Haruhi. Also, all backtags will come tomorrow, sorry for the delay. )

it's been a month now. i guess i'm not in any danger of disappearing.

[ He still has the four white ribbons he made in one of his classes. They're seated on his bedside table, and he hasn't touched them once. After all... the third world's Yuno, as well as the second's, haven't shown up yet. Maybe they can? Maybe they will? ]

what should i do?

[ He hasn't really come out of his room except for classes since Yuno left. And he feels bad about it. After all... this isn't like those ten thousand years after she killed herself. ]

Since it seems a bunch of people have been having problems with the NPCs, I'll give you all an easy tips and tricks guide on how to either avoid contact with them or avoid detention altogether. ☆

After all, dead people stick together, right? [ Even though several of you guys annoy her and are complete idiots or imbeciles.. ] If anyone wants to add anything, go ahead. As long as it's not stupid, I'll probably accept it.

Now, onto the actual guide!

Tips and Tricks Guide on Avoiding NPCs

1. Follow the rules, idiots. In other words, don't be complete dumbasses.
I know what you're thinking — "we're dead, so we don't have to follow the rules of some school that isn't going to help me!" but you're wrong. Even though this rule doesn't have to be followed in order to avoid NPCs, it's the easiest way to avoid them and not get into trouble. Also, rules have their loopholes, so if you find any, exploit them and use them. Just look at your student handbook if you haven't already.

And don't be stupid and break a rule; the NPCs will get to you.

2. If you do run into an NPC when you're not supposed to (caught ditching, cutting, what have you), use a smart excuse!
Tell them you got lost, are going to the principal's office, or asked your teacher to use the bathroom. This doesn't work multiple times, though, so I wouldn't recommend using the same excuse for the same NPC all the time. Also, for this one, you might want to know the faces of your fellow NPCs, just in case.

3. If you do something wrong and haven't gone to detention for it: do not stay in the dorms. Even more so if you have an NPC as a roommate.
They have your keys, you know, and even if you have kicked them out of the room, they will most likely get a duplicate key. Also, it's pretty likely that the staff members have master keys, so you can't leave that out. If you really don't want to go to school, just avoid the dorms and the school altogether and camp out.

4. Last case resort: if you do get caught and have no way out, I don't suggest fighting the NPCs.
I've seen them fight before, and they seem stronger than a normal human. Though NPCs fighting each other is popcorn worthy.

That's all for now, but once again, if anybody has anything to add, be my guest. I'll fix this page up periodically with updates, since a certain someone doesn't recall certain things just yet, but whatever.

[ And if anybody wants to meet up with Haruhi, she'll be around campus after classes, making sure that the people she knows well enough haven't gone to detention just yet. Especially since we dead people gotta stick together, right?! ]

[ In the afternoon, after classes are all done, Haruhi Suzumiya, currently wearing a SSS uniform instead of her usual North High uniform - she's only doing this to appease Yuri and stay on the SSS to keep an eye of Kyon - is in the music room, playing the piano and singing to the song, Bouken Desho Desho.

Plus, the door to the music room is open, so if anyone passed by, they'd hear her sing. ]

[ hello, afterliving! akashi's finally putting in the effort to address the majority of you, as the recent rumor event is ... concerning. to say the least. he fixes the webcam with an expression that is at least half glare and half bored to death. ]

I was under the impression the large majority of this student body was relatively mindless. That is to say, they have no particular interest in any of the remaining student body provided no significant disruption is caused. As a result, the change in attitude of these individuals is rather alarming. [ ... ] I'm sure we're all aware of the recent rumor mill at this point, of course.

As such, I'd like to know if anyone has any thoughts on what this change means for us, in any terms — such as why such a change occurred, or how long it may last. [ clearing his throat. ] I'd also like to ensure we retain our common sense in the face of slander regarding our peers.

[ most of the rumors he's heard have been less than favorable. ]

[ meanwhile, akashi will probably observe a number of the npc fights, as they pique his interest, and otherwise avoid areas populated with them ... for obvious reasons. while the rumors bother him for reasons fundamental to his own appearance, he can't deny that they're fascinating regarding strangers ... and so he might be side-eyeing his new roommate heavily. he'll still be introducing himself when he gets the chance, though, if only to confirm his name and therefore the gossip he should have in mind. ]
