It seems that a growing threat has presented itself here. The programmer wrote the code of an NPC in order to override particular aspects of the Angel Player program. However, the NPC's capabilities go beyond what he had planned. It has a high learning curve and special abilities that could allow it to rewrite bugs or any other programming. This poses a potential problem that I need your assistance with. I need your help to find this self-learning program NPC. Simply locate and detain it, then let me know so we can retrieve it. It should not be too difficult, I believe. It may be helpful to know that the NPC would likely be pretending to be human as well. Of course, such a task would not go without its rewards. Whoever can find this NPC will be given the opportunity to request something. I will code whatever that person would like to be programmed into this world. This is a grand reward, so I am sure you realize just how important this task is. Thank you, and good luck.

It definitely is! But first: I have a few questions. Of course, you're not obligated to answer any of them, but it would be helpful for the search.

1. How is capturing this NPC beneficial for us?
2. You said something about Guard Skills in another thread earlier, right? Does that mean it's possible for this NPC to actually affect the Angel Player?
3. If it can rewrite programming, can it rewrite other NPCs to become like itself?
4. If more than one person captures the NPC, will you be willing to give each and every person their own reward?

And speaking of the reward, does the program have to be something physical?

1. A program without emotions cannot possibly understand humans but does have the code within them to make decisions regarding your well being regardless of moral compasses or desires. The core programming will always drive any actions regardless of how much is learned.

2. Angel Player is a program that manipulates parts of the world the same as some build weapons out of dirt. If one knows of its existence and has a starting point, it can be manipulated by anyone. It's just cleaner than using dirt.

3. It could, as well as manipulate them into becoming like the shadows and replicating its own program.

4. It requires a lot of power to manipulate the world on a large scale. Even offering one such thing borders on problematic if it is not done correctly, but our resources can handle one request. If a group were to find it, then the group would have to decide together.

I need an example to answer your final question properly.

Okay, that fits quite nicely, thank you. What if someone asked to recreate a person from scratch? Of course, they wouldn't be a 'real' person, but an NPC with false memories. Would that be possible?

It would be possible, but there would always be imperfections.

Little things that would depend on the NPC. I would say the largest one is the incapacity for real emotion.
