[ It's not really like Kohaku to make posts in short frequency, but at least it gives him something to do. Especially when one of the things to spend time with had effectively vanished from this realm of non-existence. ]

Yo... In case any of you care about that short asshole guy named Levi? Lance Officer or whatever the fuck his title was... He's gone. 

Must have made his peace like the dumbass he was.

[ And Kohaku can't help being bitter about it. The second walking pool of negativity in the afterlife had disappeared. Even someone like Levi could apparently find salvation. What a traitor. ]

I don't even know why I bother updating anybody on this, but now you know. Bye.

[ It's a bit like a comrade - that was the closest term to 'friend' he would dare to use - had died. Died by giving up.
But of course that is bullshit. They were already dead. There was nothing that really mattered. They were just here because they refused to give up. Refused to stop suffering, too, maybe. Kohaku won't admit a thing about that though. All that is certain was that now he'll have to find a new sparring partner. ]

[ To be honest, to Leon it's more of a relief than anything else - he actually found the guy pretty scary even if he'll never admit that out loud. But even Leon has (sometimes) more tact than to throw that straight into Kohaku's face right now. ]

That guy made peace? [ He can't even imagine that.. ] How did he even do that? He didn't really seem like peaceful guy or whatever.

[ Kohaku doesn't have any illusions about himself. He knows he's far from a sunshine and rainbows person. And up until now he'd certainly assumed Levi to be the same. ]

I don't really know. He surely didn't tell me. Maybe it had to do with how many people from his world were here? [ He huffs. It's idle speculation, really. ] Maybe he had something to sort out with those, who knows...

Well, if he just disappeared right in front of them, you'd think they would say something instead of just telling themselves "yup, that sure is our friend disappearing into nothing in front of us!"

I just thought you'd really just poof and be gone. If it was more dragged out than that, we'd notice it all the time all over the place.

He wasn't the type to give in to this place and give it what it wants. Or so I thought. [ He kind of spits it out. It may be a good thing, rationally thinking, but Kohaku isn't good at being happy for others. It's just treason to him. ]

It's just shallow. This is the compensation we get for all that's happened? Levi literally got eaten as his death. To think he'd sell himself and his soul peace or whatever so cheaply... Ugh.

[ Mami had been subjected to the same death, but that happened to a different version. Instead, she simply had killed herself, as far as she knows. ]

What makes this place so terrible? It doesn't seem like a heavenly utopia, but it's not what I imagine Hell would be like either..

Maybe he simply went on to another version of purgatory?

[He thought it was weird that no one was there to talk down to him while he ran laps at 4 am. That would definitely explain it. A brief check of his phone proved that Kohaku was right, Levi's name was gone.]

...A lot of people have been disappearing lately. [His voice gets a little quiet, tainted with a concern he's trying his best to hide.]

I guess this was part of what this asshole programmer was talking about...

[ Everything changing while you remained stagnant and stuck, wanting, longing. 'Everything you want never comes'. And everyone you want to see never comes back. The afterlife was cruel. And that was exactly why Kohaku would refuse to leave it. ]

Levi arrived around the same time as me. Didn't think he'd work through his fucked up mess so fast.

[ Or ever. Thinking about it, he's been here a while. Time just passes by. Faces pass by, too. ]

[Hinata realizes pretty quickly that Kohaku is hurting over this. It might not be a deep, agonizing pain, but there's a regret and bitterness that he can't help but notice.]

...My best friend disappeared about a week ago, now. [He won't draw attention to Kohaku's struggle, it's just not how he is. Maybe expressing empathy in a roundabout way like this could help.] So... I kind of know how you feel. I never thought Otonashi would ever be ready to leave, h-haha...

[The laugh is noticeably forced, and weak. He just hasn't had the energy to pretend lately.] ...That's why Yurippe started the SSS, you know. We... we want to fight this.

[ While Kohaku knew him, of course, he had never been any level of close to him and as such, his disappearance had gone fairly unnoticed by him.
He doesn't give a word of consolation to Hinata, but at least he makes a pause that underlines that yes, they probably feel kind of alike. ]

Fighting this sounds batshit insane to be honest. All of Yurippe's ideas do.

[ He pauses again, just for a short moment. ]

I'll always prefer putting up a crazy fight to just giving in. It's good that the SSS is around.

[ It's not like he doesn't have a history with putting up a crazy and possible futile fight. Back home he hardly ever admitted to liking that though.
Kohaku hates the idea of making up for what he didn't have in life, but without noticing he may just do it. Bit by bit. ]

[Even if Kohaku can't see it, he does manage a small smile at the mention of Yuri's insane ideas. That means Kohaku can feel the weird draw of her chaos, too...]

Maybe it is crazy... but it's better than doing nothing, right?

[Truthfully, he loves being a part of a larger cause. Even if, yes, some of Yuri's ideas border on total insanity, he wouldn't have it any other way. If their antics could help even one person, that's worth everything.]

And we'll keep fighting! No matter how much things change, our goal is still pretty much the same. Find the Programmer, protect the students, and enjoy a long afterlife! [He's paraphrasing, but that's the gist of it, anyway... at least he sounds a little more perky.]
