7th Concert - [ voice ] Reluctant Requiem
[ It's not really like Kohaku to make posts in short frequency, but at least it gives him something to do. Especially when one of the things to spend time with had effectively vanished from this realm of non-existence. ]
Yo... In case any of you care about that short asshole guy named Levi? Lance Officer or whatever the fuck his title was... He's gone.
Must have made his peace like the dumbass he was.
[ And Kohaku can't help being bitter about it. The second walking pool of negativity in the afterlife had disappeared. Even someone like Levi could apparently find salvation. What a traitor. ]
I don't even know why I bother updating anybody on this, but now you know. Bye.
[ It's a bit like a comrade - that was the closest term to 'friend' he would dare to use - had died. Died by giving up.
But of course that is bullshit. They were already dead. There was nothing that really mattered. They were just here because they refused to give up. Refused to stop suffering, too, maybe. Kohaku won't admit a thing about that though. All that is certain was that now he'll have to find a new sparring partner. ]

That's good then, isn't it? For them to be able to move on? [ Despite trying to cheer up the boy, she knows how incredibly distraught she would be if Madoka left. ]
voice;
It's just shallow. This is the compensation we get for all that's happened? Levi literally got eaten as his death. To think he'd sell himself and his soul peace or whatever so cheaply... Ugh.
voice;
What makes this place so terrible? It doesn't seem like a heavenly utopia, but it's not what I imagine Hell would be like either..
Maybe he simply went on to another version of purgatory?
voice;
[ That huff was at least vaguely amused. The actual comment was probably not meant to be either amusing or uplifting, but sometimes dark thoughts do a bit of the job. ]
As for the afterlife... It's a construction. It's not the real deal. The people are not the real deal. Time passes and at the same time doesn't pass. Everything is artificial and disgusting. The entire idea of finding peace surrounded by lies and more lies is rotten.
A madman's fantasy can't give the kind of freedom we never won in life. [ He's mostly referring to his own as well as Levi's world here, but really, he doesn't think it's far-fetched if some other worlds applied as well. ]
