[Early in the afternoon, Otonashi can be found wandering around campus. Unlike his usual pointless I-Have-Nothing-Better-To-Do wandering though, this time he's looking for something. This fact is probably rather evident as well, considering how he's walking into classrooms, the library, the cafeteria... all while checking under their respective tables and desks, and all over the floor.

What's he looking for? Well you may just have to ask him and find out.]

[Eventually, his search takes him to the computer lab. He contemplates asking the network about whether or not they've seen his missing Something, but he figures he may as well not. After all, he already brought a lot of attention to that Something during his last post, ahem... And he figures with the NPCs and that weird guy acting strangely lately, keeping it off the network may be best.

...But anyway! There is at least one thing he could address, so he may as well do that while he's in here and taking a break from his searching. And so he leaves an audio recording.]

Hey, everyone. It looks like we got a lot of new people here recently, huh? Or at least it suddenly seems that way... But anyway, I guess I just wanted to go ahead and welcome you all here. I know it's not the best place to be in, all things considered, but yeah. I figure it's still worth saying.

[Or something... He just wants to try to be friendly and welcoming, okay!!! and not welcome people via "hi you're dead now watch me shoot this girl" like a certain someone here had done for him...]

Anyway, I'm Otonashi. I've been here for a while, longer than most of you, so if anyone needs help with anything, uh... feel free to ask me, alright? I know being here can be a little rough for some people, so I'd be happy to help.

...Actually no, one last thing. I know the girls and guys are both trying to put together their own sleepovers, but... Guys? I know how some of you can be, so really, take it from me:

[ Now you see, Yuri hadn't accidentally run into Otonashi, oh no. But she knew he was wondering around. After all, she had finally gotten out her handy dandy binoculars to spy on people from the SSS HQ window. 8')

Kthx just watching in a totally normal way like girls watch people with their binoculars all the time.

She also sent NPCs over carrying walkie talkies to hand it to Otonashi. As soon as he gets it, she'll be speaking into it. ]

[Nothing weirder than having an NPC randomly hand you a walkie talkie... what even. He just kind of stares at it when he hears Yuri's voice come out.]

There's so much I want to ask right now... [where does he even begin]

[ She was okay with his plan the first time on a logical level and from the sounds of it, he remembered her accepting it as a plausible solution. There was no reason to wait for him to screw up or something horrible to happen to say she knew something was going on this time. ]

[He's bent over and looking under a table in the library right now, but when he hears Kyon's voice, he peeks out from above it.]

Oh, hey, Kyon. Yeah, I'm missing something. It just suddenly disappeared from my room somehow. I don't remember taking it out though...

[He thinks for a moment, trying to recall the time he first discovered his copy of Angel Player and... ah, yes... He did tell Kyon about it, didn't he?]

Remember that weird program I found a while ago? That gave me the sword arm thing?

[ TAKING A DEEP BREATH. What is talking to strangers, but.. he seems nice enough, so she's trying her best here. She's even raising her hand and everything even though he can't see.. ]

[Well that is what he made the announcement for! So of course he's more than happy to help.]

Of course that's fine. I'm guessing you're new here? Either way though, what's up?

Yes, I only arrived a little bit ago, so there's much I don't know yet.. [ a small giggle. ] But.. either way, I was wondering about those people here that are not like us. They're.. NPCs or something like that, right..? I was wondering if people could become friends with them too..

Becoming friends with the NPCs?

[...uhhh]

...I don't think I'd really be the one to ask... To be honest, I've never really had many interactions with them in general. I mean, you can talk to them, but they're not exactly people with real intelligence like us... It's like talking to an NPC in a video game, just more realistic. I guess technically speaking you could befriend them too, but... [...that'd be a little odd]

[ Haruhi has been trying to avoid a certain idiot all day. Thankfully, seeing that he's not in the vicinity, that means she can go and do whatever she pleases. Especially when she notices someone under the table. ]

Hey, Otonashi-sensei, are you trying to show your butt to all the girls in school, or have you lost your brain underneath that table after someone chopped your head off~?

[ She's mostly messing with him because honestly she would never do something like that ever... ]

W-what the hell are you--?!

[Before he can even finish his questioning, Otonashi slams his head onto the underside of the table as he tried to get up.]

D-damn it! Geez, that hurt like hell...!

It's not like I"m the idiot who managed to get hit by the table.

[ She's just rolling her eyes before crouching down. ]

Anyway, do you need help or not?

S-shut up! You're the one who came up to me out of nowhere and started to say weird things! I'm not showing my butt to anyone, and where the heck did "sensei" come from, anyway...

[Ughhh how annoying. Despite her crouching down, he's already making his way and crawling out from under the table.]

Help would be great, so long as you don't start accusing me of sketchy things again.

Do you have to do anything special to start a club, or can you just say you're making a club and that's it? 'Cause me and Madoka want to make a club.

Yeah, a real, proper club that people can join and go to so they can have fun. Like the clubs that have their own rooms and everything.

I mean, I guess all you would have to do is bring it up to the Student Council... I don't know any of them by name since it's mostly full of NPCs, but I know Naoi's a part of it. Maybe he could help you out.
