[Early in the afternoon, Otonashi can be found wandering around campus. Unlike his usual pointless I-Have-Nothing-Better-To-Do wandering though, this time he's looking for something. This fact is probably rather evident as well, considering how he's walking into classrooms, the library, the cafeteria... all while checking under their respective tables and desks, and all over the floor.

[Eventually, his search takes him to the computer lab. He contemplates asking the network about whether or not they've seen his missing Something, but he figures he may as well not. After all, he already brought a lot of attention to that Something during his last post, ahem... And he figures with the NPCs and that weird guy acting strangely lately, keeping it off the network may be best.

...But anyway! There is at least one thing he could address, so he may as well do that while he's in here and taking a break from his searching. And so he leaves an audio recording.]

Hey, everyone. It looks like we got a lot of new people here recently, huh? Or at least it suddenly seems that way... But anyway, I guess I just wanted to go ahead and welcome you all here. I know it's not the best place to be in, all things considered, but yeah. I figure it's still worth saying.

[Or something... He just wants to try to be friendly and welcoming, okay!!! and not welcome people via "hi you're dead now watch me shoot this girl" like a certain someone here had done for him...]

Anyway, I'm Otonashi. I've been here for a while, longer than most of you, so if anyone needs help with anything, uh... feel free to ask me, alright? I know being here can be a little rough for some people, so I'd be happy to help.

Yep, you're right. I'm nineteen. I guess technically it's already considered being an adult at a legal standpoint, but yeah.

Uh.. I'm not sure. I don't really know at what point you "feel" like an adult, or if you do at all. It's kind of ambiguous.

Amb... Am-big-you-us? What's that mean? It sounds like a grown up word. [So he really is an adult, with his big adult words.]

Er... Basically, it's something that isn't really clear. Like it's hard to tell when you've matured enough to become an adult. Does that make sense?

Yeah, that makes sense, thank you! [Though she still takes a moment to think about the word and its meaning herself to make sure she really understands what Otonashi is saying.]

Sooo... 'Cause it isn't clear, you don't know if you're an adult? But legally, you're already and adult... Uhm.

I mean, if someone were to look at my age, they'd call me an adult. And I'm allowed to do adult things too. But I don't actually feel like an adult. It still feels like I'm a teenager.

Like... Have you ever had a birthday pass, but you didn't actually feel any older?

No...? Nothing like that. [Because what the heck is a birthday.] But what sort of adults things can you do? Are they as fun as things you can do when you're younger?
