Afterlife:

What if somebody you cared about - perhaps even loved - lost all their memories of you because of their love for you? Hypothetically speaking, of course. What would you do?

OPTION B: ACTION ( hallways )

[ For people who know Haruhi well enough, there's something that's quite off about her today. She doesn't seem energetic at all, and the gleam in her eye seems to be gone. Sure, she's not an NPC, but she's surrounded by them; hell, she's even dressed up in the regular uniform rather than the SSS uniform. Even though she's trying to make a clique of friends this way, she doesn't really seem to be talking to them all that much, only speaking every once in a while to say, "Oh, is that so", answer simple questions, and laugh when they laugh.

She's hollow, and it's obvious.

Even more so when she's in the center of the group and the NPCs seem to be forming a semicircle around her; almost as if they were the Great Wall of China.

The melancholy in her aura is obvious. And it's for certain that she's avoiding someone. But who? Dare to find out? ]

This isn't what you asked, but I once chose to erase someone's memory up through before she met me. It was necessary to save a lot of lives including hers. I was fine with it then.

So you're saying that forgetting about you is a good thing? Are you saying that your influence on people causes people to do something they normally wouldn't do for you?

As in: kill themselves for you?

[ It's not exactly a secret Kohaku hates the NPCs more than anything, so it kind of disturbs him to see someone he knows completely surrounded by them. For a moment he considers to ignore it, but fuck, Haruhi's a person he gotta work with so she's important enough. Sorry NPCs, you're getting shoved aside as he approaches. ]

[ Bluntly said as she folds her arms over her chest. ]

Don't put me in with those NPCs. I just need them as a wall, that's all. And it's easy enough to do, considering that I'm popular enough.

[ Leon doesn't even really notice her at first. He's just lazily hanging around in the hallways, staring out one of the windows with his elbows on the windowsill. It isn't until he keeps hearing girls laugh that he even turns his head to look only to see some huge group of NPCs.. they usually don't hang around like that, right? Not that many at once, at least. But as he stares for a while, he notices who's in the middle of it and it makes him slowly blink. ]

.. Suzumiya..? [ It's out loud, but he's just more wondering to himself than anything else. ]

[ Haruhi does hear the voice, though she notices that the girls stop at the same exact time that she stops, before smiling and heading on over towards him, telling the other NPCs to, well, stay, like puppies. ]

Did you ask for me?

[ The smile and the kindness in her voice is definitely forced, though. ]

Maybe not, but in this place, love means shadows can appear and destroy a part of your soul, turning you into an NPC.

I'd stay with them. And if I could, I'd try and get them to recall it. It's gotta be in there somewhere, the time we spent.

Ah, maybe that's a little selfish though.
