Afterlife:

What if somebody you cared about - perhaps even loved - lost all their memories of you because of their love for you? Hypothetically speaking, of course. What would you do?

OPTION B: ACTION ( hallways )

[ For people who know Haruhi well enough, there's something that's quite off about her today. She doesn't seem energetic at all, and the gleam in her eye seems to be gone. Sure, she's not an NPC, but she's surrounded by them; hell, she's even dressed up in the regular uniform rather than the SSS uniform. Even though she's trying to make a clique of friends this way, she doesn't really seem to be talking to them all that much, only speaking every once in a while to say, "Oh, is that so", answer simple questions, and laugh when they laugh.

She's hollow, and it's obvious.

Even more so when she's in the center of the group and the NPCs seem to be forming a semicircle around her; almost as if they were the Great Wall of China.

The melancholy in her aura is obvious. And it's for certain that she's avoiding someone. But who? Dare to find out? ]

I don't think that could be right!

[ She sounds a little desperate but she's got her beliefs about this and she's got very strong ones at that. ]

Love should be allowed in any world! I'd think that it'd be more powerful a reason to stick around than anything else!

Well, it doesn't belong here. Love is the reason those shadows show up.

I saw that post too. It's when it gets taken away isn't it? I don't think love itself could be a bad thing!

I don't think it's bad, to be honest. But love can make people move on and not have any more regrets in their life.

I think more than anything I regret not being able to be by the side of the person that I love right now, not knowing if he's okay.. if he wasn't able to achieve his dreams because of me, then there's no way I could ever move on. Even though I really, really love him.. there's no way that I'd be able to move on if I didn't know he'd be okay without me.

I see. Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Though I really don't know if he actually feels that way about me.

Why are you worried about in the first place? I mean.. that's very sad in its own way, but..

I know! If you lock the thread so no one else can see and tell me who it is, I'll find out if they like you or not!

Because I don't understand love.

And they only have one memory of me when I was alive. But... I don't want to lock the thread. Someone might hack it, and then I'll get really embarrassed.

I think it's just a simple mental illness.

And I had friends, but... it's complicated. Two of them are dead, and I have no idea where the other two are.

Illnesses are things that make us sick and aren't good for us. They hurt us and make things more difficult. Love is something that gives you a reason to keep going and makes you feel really happy, it makes you feel comforted even when you're in pain, and it means you have someone who you want to turn to and can no matter how horrible you're feeling. If it's romantic then.. well, you can do other things, but love itself isn't a bad thing. It's what gives passion to art and makes everything feel worth it. You can feel love for your family or your friends or a guy that you really want to be with...

I don't think that anyone should have to go without experiencing love at least once! So even if you don't understand it.. you should still try it, Anonymous. Even just once!

Maybe so, but right now, all I'm feeling is pain. I'm not happy about it at all, and it pisses me off.

Isn't pain what you feel when you don't get the love that you want or you can't be with that person? That's not the love that hurts, it's not being able to enjoy it that does.

Well, I doubt I'll be able to enjoy it until he remembers everything.

I suppose I can try that. But I doubt he'll remember anything. His memories come back at random times, almost out of nowhere. It's... weird.

I don't think he'd like it if I tried electrocuting him.

W-Well they have a regular therapy right? I didn't mean like shove him into a breaker...

Yeah, but I'm not an expert on that sort of thing so I don't want to accidentally off him.

That's true, it could be dangerous.. I don't think I'd like someone who tried to off me either..

Yeah. He'd probably hate me more if I did that, so that's a no go.
