[Of all places for the mistletoe to catch him, it seems fitting that Accelerator would wind up stuck just a few meters away from one of the campus vending machines. The mistletoe itself is somewhere above him, out of reach. The glitch certainly came prepared with its own little forcefield around this particular piece of mistletoe to thwart his attempts at getting rid of it using his powers. His fingers only bounce or slide off the field. His reverse engineering won't work on it either.

As a result, he's stuck right there, too far away from the vending machine and unable to move outside of about a meter radius. The flooring around him is split with a number of cracks from his futile attempts to leave. Every once in a while he can't help but kick small broken pieces of the flooring aside.]

This is fucking ridiculous.

[All he wanted was some coffee, damnit.]

[give him a moment's pause before he blurts out his dismissal:]

[Ever since the day the mistletoe arrived, Hinata learned his lesson about wandering aimlessly around the school. His head was perpetually tilted up, looking for any of the offending plants on the ceiling.]

[So when he rounded the corner, his head was indeed tilted up and staring at the ceiling... when he saw mistletoe. He stopped short, looking beneath it to the ruined floor and the scrawny boy trapped there.]

[He cleared his throat to get Accelerator's attention, keeping a notable distance from the mistletoe trap.] Do you need help?

[Accelerator levels a sneer at the (barely) approaching Hinata.]

A pissant like you must have already gotten stuck if you're asking that.

Yeah. You could... [He hesitates, avoiding eye-contact.] ...say that.

Ugh, that makes you look like a flustered dating sim protagonist. It's sickening.

[Hey now, that's his life's dream you're talking about there]

[Not that he wouldn't love that, but now wasn't the time to linger on what he would or wouldn't do as a dating sim protagonist.]

Umi walks over, stopping just short of being caught in the mistletoe trap before speaking.]

[She honestly should have expected a response like that. Umi stares for a moment before carrying on with trying to help out.]

Right. Well I'd ask if there's anyway that you think I could help free you, but it looks like you've already tried every way you know.

[Judging by the state of the floor anyway. She considers asking if he has any idea about what has him stuck in the first place, but seeing as he already said he's stuck 'for no good fucking reason' she decides against it.]

... I'm sorry you're stuck. Perhaps there's a glitch and everything will be cleared up soon.

[Absently kicks at a piece of broken floor, sending it flying a fair distance.]

"Perhaps" there's a glitch, she says. Like hell it'd be anything else!

[Accelerator, you are such a handful. So much for her trying to be reassuring.]

... Do you want me to get you something to drink?

[Since he's stuck by the vending machine and all. It's the only other way she thinks she might be able to help out seeing as most of what she's said so far hasn't been very helpful.]

A can of coffee.

[The vending machines do have Key brand coffee, nice cold stuff.]

[Walking over to the machine, Umi looks at the selections on the machine and presses the button for coffee. She picks up the can that rolls out and starts walking towards Accelerator to hand him his drink. She's not trapped under the mistletoe just yet, but with the way she's walking it's only a matter of time-!]
