Greetings, everyone! I am so glad that the worst of our troubles are over. Now that we are free to talk and walk without fear, I was curious about something, and perhaps we can use this as a chance to bond even closer!

How does your country, nation, or homeland celebrate birthdays? Mine has recently passed, so I was quite curious to know how others did it, in all places and social types.

[Though her text is peppy, she is not. Having recently discovered two of her classmates, Hinata and Gundam, are gone, her spirits are down. She sits alone in an empty classroom, scrolling through her phone silently.]

[She appears to believe him, lifting her head only when he speaks. She smiles, though it is strained.]

It's all right. I don't mind the company... and this is a free school. Please, do as you wish.

Free school, huh? With the way people have been acting, it doesn't seem to be that way to me.

[He yawns, wanting to sleep, but he supposes he'll indulge this girl.] If it's also a free school, you wouldn't mind me asking why you're sitting there, right?

... I didn't want to go out in public and have my depressing mood affect anyone else.

Ah, I had a feeling that's what it was. I've seen many smiles forced to know that yours wasn't genuine to begin with. [At least he's honest about it. For now, he's laying his head down on the desk.]

So, what helped you in your depressing mood? Bad breakup with your boyfriend? A loss of your innocence? I'm curious.

... Two of my close companions appear to have vanished from this world, without a trace left behind.

[Not to mention her 'innocence' was lost a long time ago, but that's another story.]

...they left? [He blinks a bit, actually a little surprised that people leave this place since no one ever cared to fill him in on what goes on here. That, and he doesn't seem to care in the first place.]

I thought that once people come to the afterlife, they stay here, start a new life, maybe get a family or whatever. That's how it works, right?

That's what I was told as well. But their belongings have vanished, as have their numbers from my phone. It's as if they were never here.

I would admit, I'd be a little sad to see some of my friends disappear- no. I was sad to see myself disappear from the world, as well. I wonder what could have brought upon this...a kidnapping, maybe?

For some of us, it wouldn't be the first time.

Oh? You've been kidnapped before? Someone out there must be really sadistic to do that.

It's a rather long story, but yes, he was a terrible... person.

[She hesitates. Can you really call Monobear a person?]

I can only hope my companions are in a better place, with kind people.

You can only hope. You shouldn't worry, though, if their personalities are strong. Wherever they are, they must be doing fine.

[Some kind words that Sougo can't throw around often; then again, the atmosphere doesn't seem to be calling for his usual antics.]

If not, then I'm not sure what to say. But you've got to believe in them.

[She smiles honestly now. What a kind man.]

... Thank you very much. I'll do my best to believe in them... they wouldn't want me to wallow away like this forever.

Ah, don't give me thanks. It's like someone pressing a cheese grater against my skin, my character type only calls out for this when it's serious.

[A beat, followed by:] Okita Sougo. Prince of another planet, pleasure to meet you.

[She puts a hand to her chest, and bows her head.]

Sonia Nevermind, princess of Novoselic. It's an honor to meet another royal, especially one so thoughtful.

[Granted, she's not sure if he's serious, but this isn't the situation to call such a thing out.]

Another royal here, too? It's as if they're killing off all the important people. Still, it's a pleasure. Sonia-san, then. Sounds exotic.

[Wait is he really going through with this...then again, when doesn't Sougo play the part of something just for his own amusement...]
