[ It takes some time for Petra to understand how things work, but sooner or later after some observation she’s managed to get the video on. ]

Hello? Ah, I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself… I’m - uh -new here? At least from what I’ve seen... My name is Petra Ral, nice to meet you all!

[ She fidgets a little, before continuing. ]

So, from what I’ve seen this-- world? [ Can she even call this place a world? It's the afterlife but... Everything's really strange, okay. ] -Is… far more modern than my own. The technology here is incredible, though taking coffee from a gigantic metal block seems kind of strange. [ A small pause. ] It feels a little impersonal? I think coffee’s best made from scratch, but that might just be me…

I was wondering if anyone could explain these… machines? Is that what you would call them? Ah, yeah, I was wondering if anyone could explain their purposes and how to use them! Some of them actually seem to make work a lot easier than it usual is, so I'm sure it would be really convenient to learn! I’ve been told my methods are very... “old”.

[ Petra tilts her head a little, as if she’s wondering if there’s something she’s forgotten to mention. ]

[ Later, if you find yourself in the garden, you'll see Petra walking around, smelling the flowers and inspecting them closely. There are so many types she's never seen before! And for the ones she's seen, they're mostly from outside the walls, where she doesn't really have the time to study them.

She probably won't notice you unless you're in her face, because she's super focused on a ladybug she's spotted on a plant. ]

Upon coming here Erwin feels safe to open up and learn more about people. The ones around him aren't simply going to disappear.. Clearing his throat, looks as if they are both worried of being rude..]

No-- no, you're not being rude. My death was from sloppiness, the current mission we had been on perhaps I was too emotionally invested in. We shouldn't speak of it here it's.. a lot has happened since the female titan. As for Levi, I'm not sure you should take his death and word for truth. The last I saw him he was very much alive and recovering with minor injury.

Where he seems to remember dying is in that same forest you did, Miss. Ral.

Please, sir, don't worry about it. You were doing what you believed was best for humanity, and I... don't mind dying for that.

[ She tilts her head slightly at him. The last time she saw Levi was moments before she died herself, so Petra wouldn't know... ]

That's.. odd? Could it be a uh- paralell universe thing? Like in books? I wouldn't know, haha...

I.. don't know. [He could only be honest, everything was up in the air at this point.] I feel our minds might be being tampered with.

...Be careful, tread lightly around him. I wouldn't consider him over your death. Nonetheless, this world is much more advanced from the one you and I know. Do you need assistance finding your way around?

[ a thoughtful nod, taking a note of everything mentally. ]

[ Despite them being... dead, she's so used to Erwin being a busy man... ]

Very well, the area is plenty well safe I wouldn't worry while you wonder. [Looking back down to his map, finishing the shading on the sketch he'd been working on..]

I'm sure he's around, Levi has been driving himself mad with just how little their is to accomplish around here. I myself have been trying to find things to busy myself with as well. He'll be pleased to see you nonetheless.. [He'd hope at least, after that whole 'seeing her again after what had happened' fiasco. That had been explained though, Erwin wouldn't worry about it.]

[ The promise of safety makes her relieved, although she feels a bit silly -- of course there shouldn't be titans in the afterlife, right...? She chuckles a bit at Levi's mention. ]
