Afterlife:

What if somebody you cared about - perhaps even loved - lost all their memories of you because of their love for you? Hypothetically speaking, of course. What would you do?

[ For people who know Haruhi well enough, there's something that's quite off about her today. She doesn't seem energetic at all, and the gleam in her eye seems to be gone. Sure, she's not an NPC, but she's surrounded by them; hell, she's even dressed up in the regular uniform rather than the SSS uniform. Even though she's trying to make a clique of friends this way, she doesn't really seem to be talking to them all that much, only speaking every once in a while to say, "Oh, is that so", answer simple questions, and laugh when they laugh.

She's hollow, and it's obvious.

Even more so when she's in the center of the group and the NPCs seem to be forming a semicircle around her; almost as if they were the Great Wall of China.

The melancholy in her aura is obvious. And it's for certain that she's avoiding someone. But who? Dare to find out? ]

So you're saying that forgetting about you is a good thing? Are you saying that your influence on people causes people to do something they normally wouldn't do for you?

As in: kill themselves for you?

I'm saying it's a good thing, but not for that reason.

Then, will you tell me? It's not like I know who you are, anyway. And I have no plans on spreading something like this outside of here.

Because, in some cases, the one forgotten about is the cause of their suffering.

That doesn't apply to every single case. I don't know your circumstances beyond your cryptic hypothetical question, and I won't pretend that cryptic allusions to my circumstances can be of any help. But I do know you have to look at who's suffering, why, and what's worth what. The world is rotten and full of unfairness.

I don't know if they were suffering or not with me in the picture. Their memories were forcibly taken away from them, and just those memories.

What a shitty situation. You'll live exist through it. The issue is how to.
