[Feeling a little nostalgic in the morning, Riki heads on over to the library in search for a few books. In particular, they're a few that one of his close friends used to read a lot, and some that she even recommended to him. He's also just looking around for Kyousuke, seeing as how he hasn't seem him around lately and... it definitely has him worried. It's not like him to just disappear like that, so...
...yeah. People can find him walking around the library, though he may seem a little dazed at first and maybe slightly out of it.
Later on, however, his search for books gets him a little curious! So he heads on over to the computer lab to hop onto a computer and ask a question...]
We sure have a lot of books in the library, huh? I have a friend back at home who really loved reading, and the books she read were always really interesting. But anyway, I'm just kind of wondering, but what kinds of books does everyone like? Or any kind of literature, for that matter. My friend happened to like poetry a lot too, so... yeah. I'm just curious.
[And then as a side note...] Also, for those of you who know him, has anyone seen Kyousuke around?
((ooc; as a side note, since the event began today (which we will put a mod post up about soon), here are Riki's rumors! Feel free to poke at him about them.))

he waves a hand in dismissal. ]
There's simply nothing that can be done about that at the moment. What are you reading currently?
action
It's a detective novel. When I was alive, one of my friends recommended it to me.
action
Are you interested in mysteries, Naoe?
action
I read this one already and it was pretty good and unique.
[He was just looking it for nostalgia's sake..]
action
Something you'd recommend, then?
action
Yeah, definitely. It's pretty strange and it actually made me feel a little uneasy while reading it, but... it's definitely something I would recommend, especially considering how different it his from traditional mysteries.
action
[ gesturing toward the seat across from him ... ? ]
action
It's not really an ordinary story where a detective tries to solve a crime. It's a book within a book, basically. One of the characters in it writes a novel based on those around him, making the odd numbered chapters based on actual events going on, and the even numbered ones fiction.
action
Really? I've never heard of a narrative structure like that before. What's the mystery?
action
[And somehow it had made Riki feel like something was up in his own life that demonstrated a reality versus fiction theme, but...]
action
So the author's intention is to instill a feeling of uneasiness in the reader. That's ... very interesting.
action
The author definitely does a good job at doing it.

Perhaps when you've finished with it. I wouldn't want to tear it away from you.
