[ Mami has taken the time to set up a video on the school library's computer, trying to make a good impression. So she's sitting in the chair with hair properly drill-like, and a smile on her face, her uniform perfectly pressed and clean. When she wants to, she really puts off an air of dignified grace, even if she's younger than many of the high schoolers here. ]

Hello everyone. If you don't know, my name is Mami Tomoe. I want to thank everyone who voted for me for the position of Secretary on the Student Council. I promise I will do my best to assist the president and vice-president in their goals for the student council. Of course, if anyone has something they'd like to bring up to the student council, please come talk to me at anytime.

With that out of the way, I wanted to gauge interest in something I've been thinking about..

[ Mami reaches off camera to find a piece of poster board and hold up to the camera against her stomach, with her large chest sort of hanging over the top..

On the poster Mami has written "School Cafe" in big blocky letters, with glitter everywhere. There are cut outs from magazines all neatly pasted on the off-white background, pictures of maid dresses, pots of tea, snacks, and a handsome boy dressed as a butler. It's girly and cute and still done with a sense of style to it, even if it looks a little haphazard. ]

My friend Yamashita-kun and I came up with the idea of starting a school cafe, as a club or group activity. Something to have a place for others to come and drink, eat, and socialize after school. We could use a little help getting started, but we'd also like to see what others thought of our idea. See? The waitresses and waiters could even dress as maids and.. [ Oops, her boobs are in the way, she has to pull the board out to show the butler a little better. ] ..and butlers. I think it could be fun.

[ She can tell that Mami's not all that happy about what she said, but she can't help it. Inaba has issues when it comes to trusting people, and even more issues when it comes to trust things that aren't exactly human. ]

I've had... bad experiences with people who seem to be human but honestly aren't. But I don't hate her. That's all I can say for the time being.

I understand the feeling but...

[ She has a healthy hatred for the Incubators, but that hasn't soured her opinion on Ai. At the moment she considers Ai a friend, and doesn't like to others calling her a simple program. ]

Ai is special. She's someone we can trust.

I don't know.

[ She merely shakes her head in response. She looks rather calm, but at the same time, there's something that's upsetting in the tone of her voice . ]

Even though you can trust her, I don't know if I can. But that's my own problem.

[ Inaba's showing her weakness so openly, yet there's something about the way she's saying this that seems to hint at something more. ]

You could try to get to know her. She just wants to be a normal girl like any of us. Already she's helped us so much..

[ Getting them away from the dorms, helping them find a place to live while in danger, Mami appreciates what Ai has done. ]

Even if I did, it's not as if I trust anyone all that easily. It's not just her.

[ Inaba just has a lot of trust issues in general. It's not that she isn't appreciative, she just wasn't here when they got away from the dorms and found a place to live. Besides, the possibility of something bad happening... is pretty high. ]

I understand your feelings, Inaba-san. But we're all in this together, we should try to be friends with each other, right?

No one wants to have to be alone..

[There's a deep sigh for Inaba's end as she folds her arms over her chest, fingers digging deep into her arms.]

Even if I don't want to be alone, I just can't find myself to trust anyone.

[Her voice is serious as she speaks. She can't trust anyone in this world. That's why everyone is her enemy.]

[Mami knows someone a little like that, and she's scared that Inaba might end up just like Homura. She doesn't want that to happen, but she doesn't know what she can do.]

What about Taichi-san..and the other friends of yours you talked about.

Taichi...

[Her voice drops a little bit, her eyes lowering ever so slightly as she speaks, looking rather uneasy. Even though she's trying really hard to put it all together, it's hard.]

Taichi trusts me the most out of everyone I know. But because of my disposition, I can't find myself to fully trust anyone. Not to mention that Taichi doesn't exactly remember everything that I do. Even though I love him, I don't know if I trust him completely.. he knows this already.

That's a difficult way to go through life, no being able to trust anyone. It's not a happy existence..

I know.

[She knows. All too well, actually. It's painful, and it hurts, and she knows it all too well. She's even told herself that she wants to change, to become less "dark", but she was born this way. She can't change who she is...]
