9th Concert - [ voice ; backdated to April 23rd ]

 I'm back. And by that I mean I'm suppose I'm not an 'NPC' anymore, whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean. I get the basics I guess, whatever, moving on....

[ He's been without memories for 3 days and he's had it with this weird state of not knowing a single thing. Even without any memory of who he is, Kohaku hadn't really been comfortable letting the world know of this kind of vulnerable state at first. But now that he's beginning to feel his memory won't return any time soon, he's really gotten sick of hiding out in the house with only housemates around and uncertainty in his head. ]

My name's apparently Kohaku, but as that post yesterday said, I don't remember a single shred of my life. So tell me. Who the fuck am I. Don't try any unrealistic crap, I'm not in the mood for jokes. All I wanna know is what kind of person I was before this shit went down. What I did or whatever.

[ Relying on others like this really feels awkward, but at this rate he's willing to give it a shot. He sincerely hopes he actually spoke to a lot of people here before so that there will be any use to this post. ]

((ooc: i'll be kind of vague with what he remembers from after he was de-npced and what he's been told about the situation, seeing the actual thread of him being de-npced is not at that point yet. This is also obviously backdated. Kohaku's memory officially returned today, as of the 28th, but he'll be avoiding people for a little bit with that.))

Was it painful? Do you remember dying?

[ Mami can't help but ask. She remembers her own death, how it hadn't been that painful as she just slipped away. ]

Not really, not right now... My memory starts from waking back up, I just kind of got the explanations.

You wake up in the middle of blood and think 'well, who am I'. Wasn't nice but not painful, at least.

That must be difficult, not even remembering who your friends are or your own name..

If you'd like...I can try to make you something to eat. I suppose you don't remember what your favorite dish is do you?

Yeah, 'difficult' might be an understatement.

[ He constantly tries to play over how uncomfortable he really is with this situation. An existence entirely out of context is the least desirable thing. ]

And nah, got no clue. But I can't imagine I've been picky. Any specific reason why you're so supportive?

[ That catches Mami a little surprised. ]

No...I just want to do what I can here, to help people. We're all in the same situation, more or less, and we should do what we can to help others.

And my best skill is to cook.

Pretty selfless, not bad.

[ Kohaku doesn't even know why he feels this is an unusual occurrence but even without direct memories of it, his past life reflects in his personality and makes him wary of people's intentions at first. ]

[ Selfless..Mami knows the truth on that. She knows she's the most selfish person out there, who killed herself to get away from her responsibilities and duties in life when she was too afraid to go on without the girls she cared most about, scared to become a monster. ]

I'll make something with the ingredients I have here, and bring them over when I'm finished. Does that sound alright?

[ He wonders if his self with memories would regret getting friendly with people or if he'd welcome it. Kohaku doesn't particularly like feeling responsible to not mess with someone's life when he is and at the same time is not that exact someone. He's walking on eggshells to not mess up something he has, which he doesn't know about. And might never regain, who'd know at this point. ]

It's not a problem. You still have to eat, even if you don't remember anything.

[ Mami can't begin to understand how hard it must be for him, but she doesn't want to press. And some hours later, Kohaku will find a Mami with a casserole in her arms at his stoop. ]

[ He feels kind of awkward as he opens the door for her and he probably looks it, but it does feel good to be cared about like this. Vulnerable but comforting. ]

Hey.. That doesn't smell bad at all.

You didn't think I'd bring over something that didn't taste good would you?

[ Mami even lifts a corner of the cover for Kohaki to see inside it. ]

But if you don't like it you can just tell me and I'll try to make something else you might like. I've heard that food can help people remember old memories after all.

[ have a hard time phrasing things positively. At least he's nicer now than he'd be with memories. ]

I'm pretty sure you're not gonna have to go through double effort, just looking makes me hungry.

I'm glad ot hear that, it makes every cook happy when they make something that people can enjoy.

[ Mami's already halfway into the door when he offers to let her in, having already decided that she is going to serve Kohaku herself. She isn't about to leave it with him and hope that he eats it. ]

I can find plates and utensils, if you'd like to just sit and wait?
