SSS members: headquarters to pick up arms. Now. I have enough for each of you. If the shadows are going to start appearing again, I want all of you ready.

We're not going to Guild this time. We're standing and fighting and defending anyone who can't, that stupid NPC they're after or otherwise. If you can't fight, you're taking a weapon just in case. Don't do anything stupid and run if you have to. Those of you who can't fight, come talk to me right away.

[ Yuri sighs, her voice taking on a singsong tone, like she's trying to act like it's not a huge problem. After all, if everyone's terrified then it only makes things worse. ]

I've had it up to here with that stupid boy NPC's face, he should've stayed gone after I shot him in that dumb mug the first time!

[ She gets it out and holds it out to her. Yuri seems like she's used it before, since she seems somewhat comfortable with it. ]

[She reaches out to take it, trying to mirror the way Yuri had held it. She was right, it is heavy. Was it really such a good idea to fight them with this? Especially since she was new at it?

...A hero shouldn't back down. She could practice before she actually used it.] I told you I can do it.

Just because you're holding it doesn't mean you know how to do it. Though really, unless you're fighting an expert swordsman you just have to swing it around without getting hit.

[She could do that, she could swing. Before long, she could probably even do it well. People didn't consider her a goddess for no reason, after all.]

Where do we fight?

Wherever they pop up. I'm not expecting everyone to go out and start a war, but I don't want to leave you unarmed.

[Well, at least right now a lot of people won't question why she's carrying a big sword. Now, she has to go practice.]

Do you have a bow, too?

Like an archery bow?

[ Not on her, but she knows where to get one. ]

[She nods.] I can fight with this while I learn to shoot. One isn't good enough.

You know where the archery field is?

[Her head shakes.] I've never been there.

Alright, I'll try to take you there. It isn't as though I keep them lying around, but we can grab as many quivers as we can.

[She readjusts the hold on the sword, nodding.] Can you go now?

[ She seems like she has to consider for a second.. which she does, since she wants to make sure everyone's armed at least a little. BUt getting more of the bows and arrows might be better than nothing if she runs out here. ]

[This would be an overall good plan. She had the sword for immediate protection but she bet she could learn to shoot pretty quickly, then she could get them before they got too close.]

[Of course, she would also want to keep the sword. There was a satisfaction to being able to slam it down on things, at least in her games. Most other things translated over well.]

[ Yuri's already heading out the door when Sena says 'let's go.' They have to be fast. ]

[She's just barely behind her now, as she doesn't know the way herself.]

What do you fight with, anyway?

Usually a Beretta .92mm and knives. I know how to use a sniper rifle, grenades, and smoke bombs too and have basic use of swords and archery. Though the last two were more circumstantial development.

Do you even have to learn to use grenades? You just throw them, don't you? [She could probably do that without any teaching, she figures. She has good aim.]

You have to hold the clip down after you pull the pin, then once you throw it you have to make sure you threw it the right distance and direction. It's not extremely precise, but if you're an idiot you could definitely screw it up.
