I know everyone's caught up in this whole NPC thing, but... E-er... Actually, this might help, but I was mostly kind of curious.
I saw someone mentioning the fact that Shinji Ikari came back here despite disappearing a while ago... This isn't the first time something like that has happened though. The same thing happened with Fujisaki-san -- Chihiro Fujisaki. So... I guess what I'm getting at is: What do you guys think this means? For someone to just... come back to the afterlife a while after leaving it. I know this could also have relevance to the NPC we're looking for if it has changed appearances or anything, but still. I wanted to know what you all thought.
...A-and, um... I know we've never talked before, but if it's all right, I'd like to talk to Ikari-san about this too! I'm just curious, is all.
[He's about to turn the recording off before quickly adding:]
--Also, uh... Has anyone seen Obama? I think he escaped from my room and I can't find him now.
[Aaaand he'll leave it at that.]

[Riki thinks that over. A reason to be here? That's an interesting idea.
--But wait.] --Wait. Regrouped? Are you one of the people who was here with Yuri before?

Yurippe and I made the SSS together, actually... [So as dumb as he can sometimes be, he must have a pretty good understanding of the afterlife after being here for- Jeez, how long has he been dead?]

W-whoa... Really? So you were the first two in the SSS?
Voice
[He's very quick to drop the names of the others, refusing to take all the credit for this. It had all been Yuri's idea, really...] Then Shiina cut my arms off and we recruited her... [He hums thoughtfully for a moment, calling up memories that are easily years old.] Iwasawa and Hisako joined us, too... then Yurippe and Shiina joined GirlDeMo, haha..! Ha...
[He sighs a little, realizing that he and Yuri are the only ones from back then that are still here.]

W-wait... She... she cut your arms off?!
Voice
Maybe it's because that's straight fucked up, did you consider that, Hinata?]Y...eah. We thought she was the final boss. [More video game references... When did they start using those so heavily, anyway?] Yurippe and I were alone and fighting her, but I was unarmed- [
HAHA GET IT] -and she had these really sharp kodachi and kind of... cut me open.[He'll leave out the part where he savagely strangled her to death with his bare hands, because then he'd have to explain how he died and revived so fast, and- yeah. He's still a little surprised at himself for that one.] But I got her first, so I didn't die for no reason! Haha... ha...
She turned out to be an ally anyway, so it's not like there are hard feelings!

And was that... a pun... Hinata please!!]
That's... crazy... and kind of terrifying. She sounds like a kind of scary person, to be honest.
[Then again, Yuri can be notably violent too, so... Is this just how all the girls in the SSS are? That's what Riki's beginning to assume, okay.]

We don't know what happened to her, but we can guess... She didn't even have a name until Yurippe gave her one. She must have been through a lot... and we found her all alone living underground. [It had been such a long time ago... but sometimes he missed those days. They didn't know anything, so all of it was fresh and mysterious. Commandeering the principals office, learning how to use a gun, being mystified by Kanade... He wouldn't necessarily mind doing it all again.] Once we calmed her down and asked her to join us, she could be almost... cute. Maybe she just needed to know that we wanted to help her.
[He's quiet for a moment, considering the people he's seen come and go.] I think a lot of people that come here are like Shiina. They can be scary and hurt you... but that's because they're hurting, too.
