So, did everybody have fun at the party? I'm sure it gave some of you a huge fright! ★

Don't worry though, if you guys got angry, I'll provide any sort of consolation. Provided that it's not completely crazy.

But anyway, it looks like I'm the only one left from my world. Ha, that's a funny thought! Now then: who here's alone from their world? Inquiring minds want to know~

OPTION B: action

[ Today, Haruhi is simply moping around in the afternoon, staring at her Key Coffee and lunch, merely poking it with her chopsticks slowly as she finally decides to start eating it with a deep sigh. If anyone shows up around her, however, she'll go back to being chipper, even if it isn't real. ]

Haven't seen anybody from my world at all here.

[ She noticed Haruhi a little early, but seeing how depressed she seemed to be even while eating, she didn't really say anything. Instead, she watched her for a little while, before going to make her a fresh tart.

It isn't so much that she thinks food's the cure, but she knows that when you make something with love, especially something that makes someone smile, then you can at least get a conversation started and let them know that you're there. So as soon as she can, she comes back with a Sourire de l'Ange, even made with the correct strawberries since she got seeds for it and they finally sprouted. (Good thing weather is usually right in the afterlife, she can grow them at any time.) She just goes and sets it in front of Haruhi. ]

I know you don't look that hungry, but sometimes something like this can be a lot better for you than cafeteria food. [ Ichigo smiles softly and nudges the plate toward her. ]

... Ah, hey, Ichigo-chan.

[ She's not normally this unresponsive when it comes to lunch, but the fact that she's found out that he's gone makes her a little melancholy. But nonetheless, she tries to smile. ]

And don't worry! It's not that I'm not hungry, actually. I've just been... [ She hesitates, uncertain of what to say. ] Well, it's just that I'm thinking about things, that's all! But thanks.

[ She'll take that dessert, at least. ]

I had lots of fun parties are always like that

[If she turned up and didn't have a good time then it wouldn't have been a very good party at all. She didn't really find it all that scary, but she had fun regardless of that.]

You've been playing with your food for at least 30 minutes.

[ Ichigo had watched her for about 5, then went off to go make a tart. Luckily, a single tart bakes pretty quickly, especially since it's really only the shell and crunchy base that needed to bake-- the rest was a rhubarb sauce, cream, and fresh fraises de bois cut properly. But overall, nothing horribly complex for someone who's practiced tarts enough that she won an award for this recipe. ]

This tart is called a "Sourire de l'Ange." It means Angel's Smile. It's a special tart that I came up with on my own, based on my grandmother's tart that I had when I was a child.. whenever I looked sad or melancholy, she would make her recipe for me so that I would smile because she loved me. I don't know what happened, but I don't want you to have to feel sad either.

It's really pretty.

[ She'll smile a little bit as she takes a bite. It's really delicious. But, it just reminds her that she's still here, while everyone else has disappeared. ]

But... it will take time for me to actually cope. Two of my former brigade members have already disappeared, yet I'm still here. Once he - Kyon - left, I wanted to disappear. I wanted so badly to become an NPC. I finally understood why he'd do such a thing... to create shadows in this place with no death.

I guess it's alright if they're alive. But if you know that they're dead and up and disappeared... that's sad.

[But seeing as neither of the two people she knows have shown up and they haven't disappeared on her she can't really relate. While she can't do that, she can at least try and help with the feeling sad part.]

In what sense?

It means that people you care about are still alive.

Wouldn't count on that. Guess it's a chance [ Especially given he has left them all in mortal danger oops ] but there's teenagers who had a shitty-ass death and who I still haven't seen here, so I don't think it's proof.

Only people who have regrets show up here, though.

Some of the songs I wrote are kind of sad, though.

I'm pretty sure she had regrets, half of them related to me.

Well, people show up and disappear all the time. It's not unusual if they did show up before and moved on.

That'd be a damn disappointment.

[ If it went his way, she could choke on her regrets for all eternity - then again he's not sure he wants to see her ever again either. ]

I don't know. One of them had amnesia.

[If she's written her own songs before than she can surely put together a happy sounding one. Making up songs is easy!]

[ Ichigo stays quiet, looking down while Haruhi talks, but before long she reaches her hand out across the table to try to grab and hold Haruhi's. ]

It's really painful.. being here without the people you care about. I can't imagine if I had them with me then lost them again... but I don't want to lose you too, Haruhi!

If they found peace with amnesia then, does that even count?

I don't know. It's possible he remembered it all in the end, but... I wouldn't know. I wasn't there to see him disappear.

I don't think I'll be going anywhere for a while. I still need answers to so many questions. And to be honest, I don't like seeing people I'm close to disappear.

Seeing it happen twice is already enough.
