『 ACTION - TOWN 』

[ When Makoto Naegi first awakens, he's not sure what to think. What... What just happened? Where is he? How is he still alive? Is he still alive? Or is he actually dead? ]

[ It's only logical to ask all that, considering what he just went through. It's... almost (more like, completely) impossible to survive that experience. Monobear never messes up an execution either. He knows that, after witnessing four previous ones and being able to do nothing but stand and watch throughout each one. But... he's sitting up, on what seems to be a rooftop of sorts, and he's still breathing. He doesn't think he's really dead and he certainly doesn't feel dead. He's still in one whole piece. He's not in... pieces, smashed together. However, the more he thinks about it, there's no way that he could not be dead. After all, mere moments before waking up on this rooftop, he had just gone through his own execution, huh? ]

[ The last thing he remembers is being on that conveyor belt, stuck to his desk, with the deafening and repeated slams of whatever behind him; no doubt, the thing that would come to crush him. Every time it fell, it would shake the whole desk and himself. Whatever it was, it was heavy and it was certainly more than enough to flatten someone like him. To say the very least, it was a pretty terrifying experience... He wasn't allowed to even look behind him just once, to see what was going to be the cause of his death. In a way, it was kind of relieving, but at the same time, it just made the whole experience a lot more terrifying. Adding that to how drawn out his whole trek on the conveyor belt, being forced to listen to those repeated slams, an execution like this certainly more than enough to even faze the most collected individuals, maybe even someone like Kirigiri-san. ]

[ Kirigiri-san... ]

[ Thinking back to her, he wonders what really happened. He doesn't think she murdered someone-- no, he trusts that she didn't. She doesn't strike him as the person who would go murdering people, even in the situation that they've all been placed in. So he's pretty sure that she didn't murder anyone, but he feels like... no one would murder this mysterious Mukuro Ikusaba person. The whole trial has felt kind off and he was even executed over the murder of Mukuro Ikusaba, when he didn't do anything of the sort. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that something's wrong about it, but at the very least... he's relieved and glad that the rest of his classmates weren't executed over choosing the wrong culprit, only him. It's common knowledge at that point, that choosing the wrong culprit means that everyone but the murderer will die, so even if they've gotten the answer wrong, Monobear seems to have let them live. That makes him feel better. ]

[ Well, no point in just sitting here and continue to think about this. He should go out and look for some answers, like figuring out where he is and how on earth he has ended up here, wearing these... new clothes. Hmm, maybe he's actually not dead. Maybe he somehow got saved and got placed here. He certainly thinks that's in the realms of possibility, considering that before arriving at Hope's Peak, he went through a similar thing, of suddenly waking up in a whole new place. Sure, the clothes part is new, but it's similar enough and the same thing might have happened here! Right, that's the way to think! ]

[ With new determination, he stands himself and readies himself to do some investigating!! But... once he looks around some more, he finds a big problem with said investigating... ]

[ He's stuck on a roof of a house... ]

[ Well, damn. ]

[ Naegi walks from one end of the roof to the other, taking care not to walk too close to the edge. Looking at things... he's most certainly on a house and on the second floor, or maybe even the third, he's not entirely sure. All he knows for sure is that he's high up. Jumping doesn't seem like the best idea ever. It actually seems like a really bad idea. He might hurt himself if he does that and he's in no rush to have that happen. He's been punched in the face, whacked over the head, fell unconscious god knows how many times, got really sick, and all that fun stuff enough times this past while. He's very glad that he feels healthy and fine right now, so no thanks. He'll just stay up here and figure things out. ]

[ After some minutes of wandering around this rooftop and trying to get the attention of whoever lives here, he has come to the conclusion that... no one is home (or at least very deaf to the noise he's making) and that the only way he's getting down here is if someone on ground level helps him. L-Let's hope that someone actually walks by to help him. ]

Hello?! Anyone out there?!

[ So, if you're in town, for whatever reason, you might just walk across a house with some kid waving his arms around and shouting to grab your attention. HELP, PLEASE... SOMEONE GET HIM A LADDER... ]

『 VIDEO/ACTION - LIBRARY 』

[ After that... super long day of being stuck on a roof and walking all the way to the boarding school (where he's, apparently, staying and told to attend now; yeah, he doesn't get it either), Naegi is completely pooped out. Talk about exhausting, man, both mentally and physically. This is a lot to take in and after being here for a good couple of hours, he thinks that he kind of has an understanding of things. Not completely, though. So, more exploring around the whole school is a good idea to gather more info! Even if he is pretty tired... ]

[ He has actually gone to his room first, but he didn't really stay there for long. He still wants to get the most out of this first to take a look around, after all. If he's kind of forced to stay here and actually... well, attend school, he should get a feel of the place, which eventually lead him to the library, looking over the computers. Hey, they have computers here! That's a sight for sore eyes. Like your every other average teenaged boy, he has spent a fair share of his time browsing the internet and forums, so man, using one again would be great. He hopes that he can actually get on the internet and start looking for things. ]

[ He props himself right down at one of the computers and clicks around, looking for whatever. But huh, it seems like that there's kind of network system here? Neat. He can use that to communicate with others. He should put this to good use! ]

[ Let's see if he can get the video working on this. ]

I think I got it on. Oh, there we go.

Uh, hi. My name's Makoto Naegi. I suppose you could say that I'm new here. I kind of just arrived earlier today on a roof... [ He doesn't know either, okay. He's still trying to figure it out. ] I think I got the basics down, but if anyone can go over things with me, like... where we are, exactly, that'll be actually really great.

[ Y'know, about that whole... dead stuff, which Naegi still kind of doesn't want to believe. ]

Since while walking through the forest, I could have sworn that I saw some, er... Pokemon. I don't really know what that says about this place...

[ Unless Naegi was seeing things, but no, he's pretty sure that he saw a goddamn Pikachu or a Pidgey or something. He hasn't played the Pokemon games in a while, but he did play them a lot when he was younger, so he knows his Pokemon kind of well. Heck yeah, Purple Version. The best version. ]

[ And just when he thinks that's a good place to end, he pauses and adds in this one last thing. ]

... Oh, if anyone knows anything about Hope's Peak as well, could you let me know? Thanks.

[ And cut! That's an end to that video. Time to see what else he can do on this computer. ]

[ For anyone who wanders in the library a bit after, he might... have fallen asleep at one of the computers. He pushed the keyboard a bit to the side, to give his arms enough room to cross over each other and turn into a makeshift pillow for his head. He hasn't meant to fall asleep here-- well, kind of. He only wanted a small nap, so he won't be here for long... hopefully. ]

Your classmates told us... and... My friends were in... It's difficult to explain.

My friends and I were going to Hope's Peak, but instead, we were stranded on an island. And just like you... Monobear tried to force us to kill each other!

[Explaining this... it never gets any easier, and it never stops hurting. Her eyes are cast down as she is forced to go into detail... once more.]

We never knew about your class... and I can see you never knew about us. Your friends and mine are here, and there are so many terrible similarities. Executions, and motives, and that... that terrible, cruel bear...

[She takes a deep breath, trying to calm down.]

Whatever the case... that horrible thing is not here. We can relax, and actually have a normal school life here.

I can easily imagine. I've never been to a normal school, but I've always wanted to.

I had special tutors tending to me. But where are my manners?

My name is Sonia Nevermind. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

I don't mind at all. I find discovering everyone's special talents to be quite fascinating.

[Not to mention a perfect distraction.]

I am a Super High School Level Princess. What is your talent?

[like, no biggie. just a princess. y'know. as you do.]
