Hi everyone! This is Riki Naoe. I have a few things I wanted to bring up to you all, so I guess I'll just do that this way...

So! First off, the baseball game was a while ago, and I wanted to know if those who participated or watched had a good time. I definitely did, but I just wanted to get feedback from the rest of you. I figured maybe we could do it again sometime? I'm not sure when, but we could figure something out...

...But also on that, note, uh... [...He looks a little sheepish here. He kinda got dragged into promising Haruhi something without consulting with the others first, so here he goes...] To those who were on my team... Kashiwazaki-san, Levi-san, Kohaku-san, and Mana-san. Since we ended up losing the game, uh...

...Well, basically, I promised Suzumiya-san that we would do something for her team. So I wanted to know if all of you would be up to making pizza together? Or something like that... We could make some for ourselves, but for Suzumiya-san's team as well. It's not mandatory or anything, since I did kind of promise it to her already without asking you guys first, so if you don't want to do it, that's fine. But I figured it may be fun for all of us to meet up and do something again together, anyway. So would any of you be okay with that?

[He pauses there, trying to think if there was anything else he wanted to mention and... oh, right--]

Also, this goes out to everyone! Or well, mostly the guys, I guess... But Nakamura-san brought up a girls' sleepover the other day. Since most of the girls would be occupied with that, do any of you want to hang out that night? I guess we could have our own sleepover, basically. I'm not really sure what we could do, but I'm sure we'll figure something out. It'd be fun, anyway. So is anyone interested in that too?

[He then leaves the message at that. It's evident, especially by the end of his recording, that he's pretty excited -- not only for all these events, but also just... because of some nostalgia. Being the one to propose these kinds of things is awfully Kyousuke-like. He's a little proud of himself, to be honest. And also a little upset since Kyousuke isn't here anymore to see it, but alas...

After a moment, he finally ends his message.

((ooc; as a note to those riki is referring to, it's definitely safe to assume they've all met considering they were, you know, on the same team. and i apologize once more for not getting to tag around on that log back then, since i was preparing to move into my dorm and such;; ))]

Oh uh, yeah, right. I'm Caius, Caius Qualls. I'm sorta... New here.

[He can't help his voice getting a little quieter at the end of his sentence there.]

[He doesn't blame him, really. He tries to keep his tone up all the same though in an attempt to sound reassuring. Somehow.]

Well it's nice to meet you, Qualls-san. I know how hard it can be to adjust here... If you ever need help or anything though, just let me know, okay?

Hard is right. Every time I think I'm getting used to things here I end up thinking about home. [...] And just Caius is fine, I'm not used to being called by my last name like that.

[Plus he's not used to the honorific thing either. Since a few people here seem to use them though he's not sure whether to ask about them or to just roll with it...]

Yeah, I know what you mean... I've been here for nearly a year now I think, and I can't help but do the same thing sometimes.

[Especially think about his friends... How are they doing? Rin and Kyousuke were here before, which worries him, but... that doesn't matter at the moment. Can't think about this right now...!]

But ahh... If you're sure then! Caius it is.

A whole year? [That's a pretty long time.] I didn't know there were people here who had been around for that long. I hope I'm not still thinking like this a year from now...

[Uh, wait, that came out wrong.]

I mean! I still want to think about home, and all my friends, but... I was told it would be easier to adjust if I just accepted things and got on with everything.

[He nods.] Yeah, almost. Apparently some people have been here longer though, like Yuri-san and Otonashi-san.

But I know what you mean, don't worry about it. [He pauses for a moment before adding:] If you're ever upset or anything, you could always let me know so we could hang out and get your mind off of it.

Huh, hang out?

[When was the last time he had the chance hung out with anyone? ... Whenever it was, it doesn't sound like a bad idea to him. The last person he hung out with was probably Rubia back in Fern before everything kicked off anyway.]

We've only just got to know each other, are you sure that's okay? I don't mind hanging out with you if you want to, but...

[Carefully stepping around the part about being upset and letting Riki know.]

[He nods once more, smiling.]

Yeah, of course. I don't mind at all. It never hurts to get to know and befriend more people, anyway. And I figure you'd like some company here, right?

Well yeah, of course I would. I guess you've gotta start getting to know people one way or another here... So sure, we can hang out sometime!

[He'll smile back at that!]

Yeah, exactly! So... I guess we can start with that during the sleepover then! And after then, just let me know whenever you need company, okay?

Yeah, that sounds great! I'll uh... I'll look forward to it, Riki. I know you've been here for a lot longer than me, but if there's anything I can help out with or if you want company too or something then you can just come and let me know too.

[He can fight. And make campfires. And speak in beeps. Look at how useful he'll be, truly he is the best helper ever.]

[He's not sure what he'd need help with, but hey! Company's always nice too.]
