[Waking up in a bed of flowers is not something Mary was expecting to do today. Or any day really, given it would have been impossible back at the gallery. And yet here she is, sitting up, surrounded by flowers out in the sunshine.
Did she somehow make it out? This is the outside, isn't it? It's bright. There are lots of people walking around, even if they're just NPCs. This is ticking all the boxes for what Mary's definition of 'outside' is. But if this really is the outside then how did she get here? She certainly didn't get here using the method she was planning to use. Dying definitely wasn't a part of her plan.
... Well, it didn't matter now, did it? She's finally made it out of the gallery. Ib and Garry don't seem to be around, but after what happened she's not sure that she wants to see them right away anyway. For now she intends to enjoy herself and have a little fun before anything or anyone decides to come along and spoil it for her.]

[Having woken up in one of the flower beds by the greenhouses and collected her thoughts, Mary is seriously going to town on these flowers. Red flowers? Yeah, she's going to pick some of those. And a few yellow ones, too. And blue? You better believe she's picking every blue flower she sees. There are just so many pretty colours and so little time! Sorry to any gardening club members that happen to spot her.
Want to tell her off? Point out some particularly pretty looking flowers for her to pick? It's all good.]

[Having successfully made off with a bundle of flowers, Mary is running around the school grounds, handing out the odd flower here and there. She intends to keep most of what she picked for herself, but if she gives out a few flowers then maybe she'll be able to make some friends out of it! Friends like receiving gifts, right? And if a person isn't your friend yet then giving them a gift must make them your friend twice as fast! Yes, that makes sense.
She's trying to give flowers out to anyone who passes by, be they NPCs or otherwise. Once she has her eyes set on someone, Mary runs over and quickly blurts out an introduction before handing over one of her flowers.]
Hey, my name is Mary... Don't you think these flowers are sooo pretty? You can have this one if you like, it really suits you!

Hey, my name is Mary... Don't you think these flowers are sooo pretty? You can have this one if you like, it really suits you!

... There are? I've never cooked anything with flowers before. [Then again she's never cooked anything in general.] Do flowers taste good when they're cooked?
[Raw flowers just don't taste all that great, you know? ... Not that she's tried eating a flower before out of curiosity or anything!]

[ Liiike.. ] Have you ever had a rose water cake?
no subject
I want to have one!! That sounds tasty, I reaaally like cakes! And roses, those too, roses are so pretty. [...] Are there any thorns in a rose water cake?

[If so then Ichigo can bake a cake before she finds the rose water, then when she's found the rose water, and then there has to be a post-rose water finding cake as well. Bake everything for her Ichigo.]

[ She puffs out her chest in pride. So skilled. Or something. It's like her only skill besides eating. ]
I can make any kinds of sweets as long as I can get the ingredients for it and can practice a bit if it's something new!
no subject
Really!? That's a lot like a confectioner, I've always wanted to be one of those before! [Next to being a painter and a princess anyway.] Do you hae the ingredients to make something now? I want to see what you can make!
no subject
[ She nods. ] There are a few things I can get ahold of easily! What do you want to eat right now?
no subject
Right now I want to try... Hummm. Red cake? ... Red velvet cake, that's it, I want to try some of that! [It's red, and it's cake. What's not to love?] Red rose water velvet cake, heehee!

no subject
When will it be ready?! [She wanted this cake forever ago, where is it.] I want to try some right now!
no subject
Well, it'll take a little while to make. How about tonight after dinner? I'll go start right away.
no subject
Okay, tonight! I'll look forward to it, I'll even save lots and lots of room so I can eat as much cake as I want.
[... Wait, what time is dinner anyway? Time wasn't really a thing for her back in the gallery, and just saying 'tonight' is a little too vague for her.]
... Can I have dinner early so I can have the cake even sooner?
no subject
Well it's not so much about when dinner is as much as it takes time to make, ice, and decorate a cake so eating dinner sooner won't really help..
no subject
Awww... Really? I thought I could get to eat it even sooner like that... [Bummer.] How long will it take to make then?
no subject
no subject
If you decorate it really well so it looks pretty, how much longer will it take? A cake that looks good would taste even better.
[Probably. Or she would think it would taste better anyway.]
