001: action;
option a;
[Not being in-tune with modern technology at all, Inigo doesn't get the heads up about the incoming shadow invasion. He only realizes it once people are already starting to evacuate the building, as he hears shouts from outside and strange noises against the outside walls. Of course, when he finally glances out his window, he gets a glimpse of some shadows already beginning to scale the buildings, which is, of course, his cue to get the hell out of there.
Fortunately he came across a shinai in the kendo room the day of or the day after his arrival, so he at least has something to defend himself with that's... not Haruhi saving his balls. And so, without taking anything else, he grabs the weapon and heads on out.]
Ah... I truly never imagined an afterlife so cruel and dangerous as this one.
[He sighs, still drained and in disbelief over the fact that he is in the afterlife to begin with. And as he runs down the hallway and passes the staircase, a more important thought occurs to him. He immediately goes up them and begins his search.
If any characters are still in their rooms -- whether in the boys' or girls' building -- they're going to be receiving a loud and rushed knock on their door.]
Is anyone still in here?!
option b;
[Later on that evening, once Inigo is satisfied with his evacuation procedure, he can be found wandering around the forest, searching for firewood, food, etc. The works.
Feel free to give him a poke, though he may be a little on edge from all the events.]

Oh-- No, no. There's no need to apologize. It's rather dark out here, so people bumping into one another is to be expected. I'm just relieved to see that you weren't one of those shadows, or this man from earlier who decided that jabbing me in the side would be a good way to say hello. [Which, by the way, hurt!!! But he won't mention that.]
As for smiling, there's no need to apologize for that either. Considering our circumstances, it's understandable. But I assure you we're completely safe out here. [So far he hasn't actually come across any shadows in the woods, thankfully.] So if you can smile, please do! I'm sure you have a lovely one, anyway.

Don't mind her freezing up for a moment at the "jabbing me in the side" part.. that does sound scary, okay, especially if it's someone you don't really know well. But before she can ask if he's alright, he's already asking her to smile again.
And there's only so many times (none at all, actually) that Madoka can turn down a person's request before she just feels bad about it. So she does try to smile, even if it's thinly. ]
.. Like this..? I might have to work on it a little, I can do it better when I don't feel very worried.
no subject
But Inigo is just happy to see her smile, so even if it is a small one, he throws her a thumbs up all the same.]
See? I knew you would have a lovely smile. It's perfect already.
no subject
P.. perfect? [ She gasps. Not necessarily in a bad way, just surprised! So surprised that she even clasps her hands over her mouth for a moment as she looks at Inigo before she speaks up again. ]
No way, it can't be perfect already..!
[ She's just about average, Inigo!! ]
no subject
But oh gosh, she's so cute...]
It truly is perfect though! I would never lie to a lady. So please, give yourself more credit.
no subject
Well, if you insist.. [ ehehe. ] I wouldn't want to say your judgement is bad, because I'm sure you're a really smart person..
[ Yeah, about that, Madoka. ]
I'll make sure to try and smile even more then!
[ Even if it might be hard. But if other people are counting on her, then she can't just not do it. ]
no subject
I'd say I am! And for this topic in particular, well, I'd say it's my specialty.
[girls and smiles and making girls smile hell yeah]
But please do your best. I understand if you can't, however, and if that's the case, then, well... I'll just have to smile enough for the both of us until you can manage it on your own again. But I do hope you can, of course.
no subject
[ Someone is taking this whole smiles business a little too seriously, but.. come on, it's Madoka. What did you expect? It sounds enough like an official duty to her, and she wouldn't want to trouble someone with that all by themselves. ]
I mean-- I.. I don't doubt you're strong, really! I just don't think anyone should have to do that by themselves.
no subject
I assure you I'd be quite all right managing it on my own, but... If you insist, then the least I could do is help make that smiling easier for you. So! If there's anything I can do -- anything at all -- to make you happy, just say the word and I'll do my best!
...This is the part where I'd normally offer a cup of tea, but unfortunately that's not entirely possible out here.
no subject
Hehe, you're right. It'd be a little hard to find tea out here.. it's not like it exactly grows on the trees. But I already appreciate the thought a whole lot, really.
no subject
We'll just have to postpone that cup of tea until whenever it is possible then. It'll give us both something to look forward to, even under these circumstances. How's that?
no subject
Hmm, I'd like that. [ She'll take every little spot of light in the darkness of this situation. ] .. Actually, a friend of mine and I were also thinking of organizing a picnic for everyone here sometime, but.. it didn't really happen since everything got so scary.
no subject
But mm... Inigo's expression falters and becomes a little more serious at that. Just a little.]
Hm... Say, how long have things been like this here, anyway?
no subject
[ Nothing too long in the grand scale of how long she's been here, but it's been long enough for things to bother her. And so she can't help but softly voice the worry that has been on her mind all this time-- ]
I wonder if things will still go back to normal sometime..
