[ Of course, that's not how it works, here. And he knows it. In a way that's almost certainly going to make him late for class, he slowly peeks out of his dorm room, trying to time it so that he's not going to be near anyone else in the hallways. As if he were trying to traverse a mine field, he's slowly, cautiously, taking wide, swerving steps throughout the hallway, his eyes constantly looking upwards for signs of mistletoe.

He can smell it. Mistletoe, everywhere. He knows what's been happening with that. Even if Yuno isn't here anymore... he doesn't want to risk it. ]

I'd kill for my Diary right about now...

[ He grumbles, trying to dodge yet another mistletoe on the ceiling. Of course, this particular one is right in the middle of one of the busiest corridors in the entire school. He's not paying attention. Cue a potential collision... ]

[ Hey, it could be worse! She could kill you over and over again until she's satisfied, but Haruhi's not that morbid. ]

[ And off he goes, to finish getting dressed. ]

[ Haruhi, having dodged all of the mistletoes (don't even ask how, manages her way inside the boy's dorms. Unfortunately, she doesn't know which room Yukiteru's in, so she's just going to call his phone again! ]

[ His phone rings. Instead of answering it, he just awkwardly peeks out of his room. And sure enough, there she is. ]

Umm... hi.

Hey, Yukiteru-kun!

[ And she'll wave with a huge grin on her lips as she runs right towards him with incredible speed before skidding to a stop. ]

Okay, so far I haven't run into any mistletoe, so you're in the clear. Did you want to go somewhere?

[ Yukiteru flinched. When people charge at him like that, it's either for a nefarious reason, or it's Yuno about to tackle him. But, no, it's Haruhi, and thankfully, she stops before they collide. ]

U-Umm... [ Good question. He didn't even reach that point, yet. ] Wherever you wanted to go... I-I guess.

... Eh? I thought you wanted to go somewhere?

[ She blinks once, then twice before rubbing her head, uncertain of how to actually answer that.

Well, I guess we can go to the convenience store.

Well, I was bored... I, um... [ Well, this was awkward. ] Umm... well... okay... I also haven't eaten all day.

... Seriously? Fine, we're taking you to the kitchen. I'll whip you up something.

[ She sounds a little distraught at that, but she'll soon grab Yukiteru by the arm and drag him off. Mostly because they're in a hurry. Even though they're dead, it doesn't mean they shouldn't eat. ]

[ Call it a force of habit, but as she grabbed his arm like that, he flinched. He quickly relaxed, though, and takes a deep breath. ]

You don't have to cook for me if you don't want to... [ But he knows by now that arguing with Haruhi is almost as pointless as arguing with Yuno. He sighs,and allows her to lead him. Hopefully not into a mistletoe. ]

I'm not going to pick up after you if you collapse from hunger. Just because you think you can't die doesn't mean that you can off yourself. Besides, I'm not cooking for you because I'm forced to, you know.

[ An immediate response from her as she speaks as cooly as she can. Not that it's surprising anymore, really. But she'll keep an eye out for any mistletoe. Her eyesight hasn't gone bad yet. ]

Though I wonder if you can put mistletoe in any food...

Well, uh... thanks, I think.

[ Yeah, let's go with that. He allows her to lead him, gingerly holding onto her arm, until she mentions putting mistletoe in food. Aside from the fact that he knows it isn't exactly edible... ]

I was thinking that maybe it would make things taste a little different! You know, like how you put mints?

I'm not sure mistletoe would taste as good... besides, what if... whatever they're doing to people out here doesn't go away when someone eats it?

She's not here anymore, is she? And besides, I don't really care if some yandere chick tries to off me.

It's usually someone whose love is so sickening that they'll kill anyone who gets in the way of their relationship. Even if it is a misunderstanding.

[ ... well, Yuno was definitely the type to stab first and ask questions never. Even if he wouldn't call it 'sickening.' He blames her nightmarish childhood and the Survival Game for that. ]

Umm... well... she's really not a bad person... [ He can't argue with that, if that's what 'yandere' means, that's definitely Yuno. ]

[ She shakes her head dismissively, folding her arms over her chest. ]

That sort of thing is in the eye of the beholder; it all depends on one's morales.
