Attention, everyone! This is Haruhi Suzumiya with a special announcement!

If you’re getting this message, then you’re specially invited to the Hallow’s Eve Obligatory Cosplay Extravaganza! Otherwise known as the most awesome Halloween party of the year! It’ll be taking place in the auditorium on the evening of the 31st~ We’ll be having fun all the way until midnight of the next day, so you’ve obviously got to come! ★

And sure, you may have heard the word “obligatory”, but I’m not forcing any of you to show up, even though you’ll definitely be missing out, but anyway! The obligatory part is cosplaying, or rather, wearing a costume! If you’re not wearing a costume, I’ll be kicking you out of the party, no questions asked. So as long as you’re not wearing plain old boring clothes or the school uniform, it’s not that hard to dress up as someone who isn’t you! Scary, or not scary, it’s up to you. Though the person with the coolest costume will get the most amazing prize of all, I totally promise you that not only as the former brigade member of the SOS Brigade, but as your awesome vice president, too!

Besides, those shadows ruined our culture festival, so it’s only right to do something to do something amazing to make up for it! So, if you want to have a booth set up, just tell me and I’ll give you a space, OK?

We’ll make this the best bash ever on this spooky night with both live music, a DJ, tons of games and prizes, and night time scary stories, too.

If you have any questions about the party or about Halloween, or anything else in general, just shoot a text right back at me, alright?

( OOC: Okay, so the Halloween party log will most likely be thrown up on the 30th and forward-dated because I’ll be pretty busy on the 31st. If things change, I'll let you all know! In regards to what’s happening in the event, information is here, and even though characters can definitely opt out. If your character isn’t ICly interested in the party but wants to be dragged into it, they can be dragged in by Haruhi, as long as they’re in costume. If you have any comments or concerns, just throw them at me ICly on this post or the OOC post and we can do something about it, hehe. )

I would have to check and see what they have available here, but the possibilities in my imagination are endless! I was thinking of perhaps going as Jason, but I am welcome to all ideas.

Not remotely. I've been NPC'd before, I was so against it I busted out of there. [ With a little help. And it wasn't so much busting as absolutely refusing then getting swarmed again... ] Actually being productive. It's not like I can just sit online typing to people all day.

Ah, is it really that time of year? I never thought that people would have specific reasons for cosplaying in the first place, but I suppose Halloween is one of those better times for it to happen.

Okay, so what is Halloween anyway? Aside from something having to do with horror.

It's a holiday for remembering the dead! Kind of like Obon. Though nowadays nobody really celebrates that way. We just go out and have parties while in costume. Oh, and scare people, too.

Guess throwing a party for ourselves is almost somewhat logical again. So basically it's like a masquerade ball but death-themed?
