... Do any of you have Leimorne where you're from? Back home I was fighting to help the humans and Leimorne come to trust each other, one of my friends was even gonna start a whole organization about it when the lycanth hunt was over and we stopped the King's plans.

[He's really hoping someone here knows what he's going on about, otherwise he's just going to end up speaking a load of gibberish.]

So I wanted to ask, do any of you have people who aren't human where you're from and do you get along with them? Like there's no difference between how you and them are treated.

[And that's it, there's his message. While waiting for replies, Caius will be fiddling around with the laptop he's using. Adjusting the camera, tapping buttons, just generally messing around to see if he can get a better grasp on these things.]

[It might be possible to spot smoke billowing out from the trees behind the dojo later in the day. Not like rolling clouds of the stuff, but a thin stream of black smoke that rises up into the sky and could easily be spotted by anyone walking around the school grounds today.

Should anyone investigate the source of the smoke, they'll find Caius in a small clearing with a well lit campfire nearby. There are a few sticks set aside in a pile in case the fire needs tending and it's surrounded by small rocks to keep it under control.

Caius is standing a short distance away from the fire, wielding a long stick he picked up in one of his hands. He swings the stick back and forth a few times before talking out loud to himself.]

Come on, I've done this hundreds of times... Demon Fang! [...] How about this, Sword Rain!

[He's trying to get his artes to work, but he isn't have much success. Luckily, most of his artes are just various sword swings, so he can emulate them pretty well even if they lack the power and speed his artes usually do. Care to interrupt his little camp out-slash-training session?]

[He walks over the the campfire now, giving it a quick look over before snapping the stick he was holding and throwing broken parts onto the fire.]

I'm getting used to things, slowly. I managed to use one of those laptops today.

[And at that he smiles to himself. Laptops are hard to use okay, it's an impressive achievement!]

Of course, that's why I'd do it in the dead of night while no one was around.

Well... [He can't deny how useful it would be, plus his roommate would probably find it handy too. Hmm.] Okay, sure. We can take one tonight then, if that's fine with you.

[Even though he's sure Yuri is capable of doing it, he'd rather lend a hand since he's going to be the one using the laptop once its stolen and everything.]

Just go find one of the teachers' carts and bring it with, it'll make things easier. That can be your part.

That's all? Sure, I can find one of those things no problem. So the plan is to load one of the computers onto the cart and roll it out of the library, just like that?

Yeah, but we have to be quiet and do it after midnight. If we're loud, the janitor will come and alert the teachers.

Right, we'll just be extra quiet then. What happens if the teachers end up coming though, do we just run for it?

That's basically it. If you lose them they'll usually give up before the night is through.

Okay, easy. I'll just run off into the forest and lose them that way. [...] So after midnight, at the library, with one of those carts. Guess I'll see you around then.

[He can't help smiling to himself since... Well, it sounds kind of exciting! He would never dream of stealing something back home, but since this is really the only way of him getting his own computer he might as well get into everything at least a little.]

You have to be careful not to drop the computer though. If you drop it, it'll break. What's your room number? I'll come pick you up at 11:45.
