[ Of course, that's not how it works, here. And he knows it. In a way that's almost certainly going to make him late for class, he slowly peeks out of his dorm room, trying to time it so that he's not going to be near anyone else in the hallways. As if he were trying to traverse a mine field, he's slowly, cautiously, taking wide, swerving steps throughout the hallway, his eyes constantly looking upwards for signs of mistletoe.

He can smell it. Mistletoe, everywhere. He knows what's been happening with that. Even if Yuno isn't here anymore... he doesn't want to risk it. ]

I'd kill for my Diary right about now...

[ He grumbles, trying to dodge yet another mistletoe on the ceiling. Of course, this particular one is right in the middle of one of the busiest corridors in the entire school. He's not paying attention. Cue a potential collision... ]

Really? [Though Reisuke actually does pause to consider that for a second. It's true, the game is over...he shouldn't have a reason to want to cause harm to Yukiteru, considering that Reisuke was the one who lost the game, and is willing to admit his defeat in that matter.

...But at the same time, he's still really curious to see what kind of "trap" this mistletoe is capable of, and you happen to be the closest person nearby. That's how he'll choose to reason it as he attempts to give the plant a wide enough berth so that he can come around to stand closer to Yukiteru.] Do you really mean that, Onii-chan?

Of course I do.

[ He meant every word. In fact, if he could, he'd say the same thing to Hinata, Akise, Mao, Ueshita, and maybe even Tsubaki, too. After seeing the Third World, he was convinced that none of them were bad people (especially not Hinata and Ueshita), just people who never really had a chance in the Second World due to circumstances beyond their control. And in Akise's case... well, he was right. Yukki knew it. And he'd admit it if he ever got the chance. ]

And I think Yuno would feel the same way. [ ... okay, that was a stretch, but Yukki's trying to be optimistic for his sake. ]

Yuno onee-chan too? [Haha, yeah, right. He likes Yuno a lot, but he's definitely not naive enough to believe that Yuno would entirely feel that way, even if there was no survival game anymore. Still, he continues to give Yukiteru a curious, wide-eyed look.] You really think so?

Well... maybe if I talked to her and explained things to her.

[ Not many people got to see the side of her that he got to see. Especially not other Diary Holders. ]

[It's not like Yuno to leave Yukiteru behind anywhere--she'd slice her way through a hundred people to stay by the First's side. And if she wasn't here, then where else would she be?] Maybe she's playing hide-and-seek?

I know it is. [ Yuno routinely goes out of her way to remove any perceived threat, real or imagined, to her relationship with him that he can't imagine her willingly separating herself from him, especially after what happened with the First World's Yuno in the Third World. But she's been here twice. Granted, he was lead to believe that the second time she was here, it was the Third World's Yuno, but... this was Yuno they were talking about. What could possibly make her disappear? If anything, he expected himself to be satisfied with the afterlife enough to disappear before she did. ]

Me too. [...Actually, there's something else he wants more than the diary, but it would be nice to have the diary around too.

... [Unfortunately, Reisuke has some trust issues of his own--maybe not as strong as Yuno's issues, but nonetheless it's been a long time since Reisuke actually trusted anyone. So, he can't help but be kind of stubborn.]

[ It'd be different if it were someone like the Third of Bacchus. ]
