hello everyone!! this is not only celica, but yosuke too! or well, i'm the one texting, but yosuke is here with me. (・∀・ )

anyway!! happy halloween! it's not candy, but the two of us baked cookies. and we decided to share them all with you!! ヾ(ﾟ∀ﾟゞ) so if you want some, we'll be standing just outside of the dorms with a table. we're also dressed in cute princess and knight costumes, so come and see us and get some delicious cookies!! ∩( ・ω・)∩

[And just as promised, Celica and Yosuke are sitting outside of the dorms at a table covered in neatly-wrapped bags of cookies. They're wearing a princess and a knight costume respectively, which is obviously adorable okok. If either of them spot your character walking nearby, the'll call them over. After all, everyone needs delicious Halloween cookies...! They even look like pumpkins. How festive.]

[It's actually a fact that no one can resist cookies. But hey, it's a holiday! So it's totally okay.

Yosuke turns to the table as soon as Celica asks.]

Sure, got it! [He grabs a bag of cookies and offers it to Jean.] Hope you like 'em!

[Yosuke's totally natural about it. In truth, handing out stuff like this isn't all that different from something that might happen at work. He almost feels like he should be wearing his uniform instead of this costume!]

[Bertholdt, who'd been dressed up for the day by a certain princess as Frankenstein's Monster, happens to get Celica's text in the morning but hadn't managed to reply with all the fuss it took to get dressed, paint stitches onto his skin, paint his nails black-- the whole nine yards. Sonia hadn't gone easy on him. So it's only a passing thought as he comes back to the dorms that they might still be there and, low and behold, there's a really cute cookie stand there waiting.]

Oh... that's so nice...

[He's 100% Gentle Giant, his costume suits him really well. He even spent the morning reading about languages in the library.]

[Okay, so just saying, but that's some suspicious giggling over there... On one hand, it's probably just a text from a friend or something, but on the other...

Yosuke can't help it. He really wants to know! So he tries hard to seem casual as he asks:]

Actually, the costumes were also her idea. But you look great, too, Haruhi-chan!

[He totally means that, too. Haruhi's personality might be scary sometimes, but she's definitely pretty.]

[Those cookies almost look too good to eat, and of course the costumes look amazing too. Umi stops by the table after her walk all the way to the convenience store, which was thankfully providing some items that weren't costumes, jewelery and hairspray at this point. As such she's carrying a small basket with her, filled with bread, rice, a few snacks and vegetables... And a skull mask. She intends to get into the halloween spirit at some point too!

Creepy masks and her shopping aside, Umi greets the two with a smile and a deep bow. She's before a princess after all, might as well play along for the fun of it.]

Good day your highness. How are you and your knight in shining armor doing today?

[Yes good. Everyone should be in the Halloween spirit! And Celica can't help but laugh at the charade, returning the bow with a curtsy of her own.]

Of course! As long as my lady is okay, then all is well.

[That sounded kind of knightly, right? Right?! Well, whatever, close enough! He looks back at Umi.]

Is there anything we can help you with today, ma'am?

[When Celica suggested baking cookies to hand out for Halloween, there was no way Yosuke could say no. For one, a cute girl wanted to bake cookies with him. That is kind of a big deal. (Even if a part of him was nervous. He still has trauma thanks to certain girls' cooking, thank you very much.) But for two, it just seemed like too nice of an idea to pass up. In a place like this, they needed things like that, little things to cheer them up and forget about why they were here in the first place. Yosuke had been here for a while now and it never really got easier, so he knew the importance of things like that.

...the problem was that he'd never done much in the way of cooking or baking before, and he was kind of too embarrassed to admit it in fear of ruining everything. That's why it's not until they're in the kitchen, ingredients already prepared to be used, that Yosuke finally speaks up about it.]

Well, this should be fun. You know, I've never actually baked cookies before.

[He tries to say it casually, but... there's definitely a hint of embarrassment there. He shouldn't have agreed so quickly and he knows it, argh.]

[Shh shh, it's okay, Yosuke...! Unlike said certain girl's cooking, Celica's is actually decent! And of course, the whole reason why Celica invited Yosuke to join her in the first place was just to be able to hang out with and spend the day with him. They had planned on coordinating costumes beforehand anyway, so she figured this would be a good way to begin the day.

As such, when her friend speaks up about his dilemma, she simply waves her hand, dismissing the comment.]

That's okay, Yosuke! There's no need to worry. That just means I'll have to show you the ropes, right? I'd be more than happy to teach you, anyway. Plus it'll be fun.

[Yosuke has to hold back a sigh of relief. He's so glad she understands! ...he really hopes her confidence is actually a good sign, though. Chie, Yukiko, and Rise were pretty confident, too, after all...

Argh, no, don't think about things like that!! He smiles sheepishly.]

Heh, thanks for understanding. I was worried it would be a problem, but I just couldn't say no... I'm sure it'll be fine if we're both working together, though.

Although he's a mooch too, so of course he's right there at the mention of cookies. Besides, Celica is cute. It's like two things for the price of one and then the price of one is already free. ]

Yo! [ He arrives with a grin, but then just stares at them. ] .. Oh, I thought Hanamura would be the one in the princess costume.
