[ When the feed turns on, there is one Suzumiya Haruhi, wearing her usual SSS uniform with a bright smile on her lips before she winks at the camera, a victory sign on her fingers. ]

Hello, everybody in the afterlife! This is Suzumiya Haruhi, coming right at you from the comforts of her room to make an announcement: the school festival is coming to you live soon, and we just have to get ready! And how are we going to do that?

First of all, I plan on making a movie. And everyone who sees this message: and that means you is welcome to come audition for a part. All you have to do is come right after classes on Tuesday and give it your all! I'll be accepting only the best of the best, so you better be ready! And if your name is Kyon, you have to come, no exceptions.

Second of all, I'll be performing for the school festival with my totally awesome band, so you guys better not miss it! My awesome voice and singing will be heard for everyone to hear! If you want a sneak peek, though, feel free to stop by the music classrooms.

OPTION B: ACTION ( an empty music classroom )

[ Haruhi is definitely readying herself for the school festival; in fact, the armband that she usually wears now reads "Super Vocalist" while she's in the classroom. Slinging an electric guitar over her shoulder, she decides to practice several songs. Depending on when people come in, you might hear the following: Sono Hi Sora wa Kitto Aoi, Star Way to Heaven, Bouken Desho Desho (and yes, she's dancing too), or Punkish Regular.

Even though she's singing fine, there's something about her that seems a little... off. Perhaps even a little melancholy, too. ]

[ She's ignoring the question as she heads on over to the table, opening her binder as she takes out the sheet music for the songs she wants played as well as a CD with the tracks on them. ]

It's like a computer screen except it's generally bigger.

[ He takes a moment to lean against the wall and look the sheets over before he replies. ]

No questions for now. I'll come find you when I got them down.

[ Because even if he acts like this big scary independent guy, he's totally used to playing someone else's compositions and altering to their wishes. Of course, he'll not nearly be as receptive to instructions from Haruhi than from his former orchestra master, but he knows how playing music together should work so he's willing to try. ]

[ Mana didn't hear that announcement (she has yet to learn how to actually work out anything called technology) but her interest is perked when she hears music coming from a room over there.

When she peeks inside, she first only listens, but then she tries to imitate the dancing because it looks fun. She might not have that much success, but it's not like she's not clumsy. And she has never seen that type of dancing, either. ]
